Second, the preseason publications do not change results on the field. Who picked Atlanta and Miami to go to the playoffs at this time last year?

I've been looking and can't find the links to a couple of articles. Sorry, I read them a while ago. But this is besides my main point: preseason publications are often quite wrong. Like I said, which publication predicted last year that the Dolphins and Falcons would make the playoffs?

Let's retrace...I didn't say all predictions for the Skins were good, just some of them. I provided evidence of the one I could find. It doesn't matter that it was written by Florio to make my point...all that matters is that it does exist.

And, yet again, my real point is that football is rather unpredictable, especially in the NFL. This means that the preseason rags are somewhat WRONG every year.

Which brings me back to my original point: it doesn't matter what predictions emerge from preseason rags, good or bad, because the game is played on a field, not in print.
