They all suck. I can't even listen to Troy Aikman during games. He just pulls garbage out of his *** which is clearly incorrect. It's like he doesn't even think, he just craps out words so it's not dead air.

I hate just about all sports media talk show hosts. The only one that didn't grate on me was Bob Sturm, but I have to be honest. I left Texas in January 2005 and haven't listen to him since. He could have converted to garbage since, I wouldn't know.

I remember Norm and Galloway on the radio. Their voices alone was like fingernails across a chalkboard!

I used to enjoy SAS and Skip argue Cowboys. It was awkward with Max on Monday, since he hates the Cowboys too, but was trying to say positive things. It was like SAS was trying to argue with Skip, but he wasn't there.ha

I would rather pay to see Skip and Aikman in the Octagon on PPV.

I agree with this. I used to enjoy my car rides and trips as I would listen to sports talk radio the entire time. Now I don't have any of them as programmed stations any more.

Of course it goes beyond the Cowboys for me as it seems like half the time you're listening to sports talk radio you're listening to hosts push in-show advertisements all the while endurring traditional commercials whose cycle durations have increased. Not to mention the fact that most of ESPN sports talk sucks now because they spend more time talking about non-sports topics like politics, food recipes, dogs, back-in-the-day stories, etc.

When they actually do talk about sports, the angles they take are based purely on generating listeners, not honest opinions and discussions. In most cases where there are 2-3 hosts on the show, you will always find one host has a completely opposite opinion on most topics as the other host(s) in an effort to present an "honest" discussion but in reality they are simply trying to appeal and provide an advocate to both sides (listeners) of the debate.

It's condescending, it's fake and it's a waste of time. Sports radio that we knew and loved long ago is dead and gone.
