Skip makes good points too bad people aren’t open to listening . Now that Jerry took the plunge with Dak , against my advice Skips advice and many others it’s time to get a HC in here to build an offense around # 4 ( it can be done ) and get on with it.

The point I disagree with is Skip wanted MM out and Jim Harbaugh in . I watched KC vs Chargers , that team is nowhere closer to giving the Chiefs competition in the West then when Staley was the HC .

The only reason we are screwed for the next 7 years is because of an incompetent front office
Philly made a mistake with Wentz....heck Philly made a mistake with Chip Kelly....they were not screwed for 7 years due to either mistake

A competent front office with good vision when it comes to the coaching hire and drafting should be able to get the WORST situation turned around in 3 years!!!

Heck the Broncos got out from under possibly the worst QB signing in NFL history when you consider the players traded, draft capital and what they paid him...and they just laid waste to the Saints (who boat raced the Cowboys)....and they are now 4-3!

The man steering this ship thought there were 500 different coaches that could coach the Cowboys.....he mistakenly thought HE had built that good of a roster. Since Jimmy Johnsons influence (coaches, culture, and players he drafted) left the building...they have won like 5 playoff games since 1996. Thats 1 playoff win every 6 years. That is what Jerry has done.

He can count the 3 Super Bowls as an owner. But HE HAS FIVE PLAYOFF WINS IN ALMOST 30 YEARS AS THE GM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not getting into Daks contract. I am simply saying that mistakes...even likes Daks contract would not set competent front offices back 7 years. Do you think the Broncos will be set back 7 years by Wilson's contract? And I would argue the players, draft picks and compensation given up for Russell Wilson outweighs the Dak contract. So ANYTHING can be overcome.... It might hurt for a year or 2...but nothing should hurt for 7 years if you know what you are doing!!
