When you sign them to massive contracts, they're untradeable for the first two years at least Dak would be about a $100 million hit on the cap next year if they traded him now. That signing was dumb.

Micah is the only one you could trade.

I am not getting into Daks contract. I am simply saying that mistakes...even likes Daks contract would not set competent front offices back 7 years. Do you think the Broncos will be set back 7 years by Wilson's contract? And I would argue the players, draft picks and compensation given up for Russell Wilson outweighs the Dak contract. So ANYTHING can be overcome.... It might hurt for a year or 2...but nothing should hurt for 7 years if you know what you are doing!!

I agree. Mistakes that shouldn't have occurred but can be overcome if willing to face the consequences head on.

Jerry is the problem, in case you haven't figured it out. He has never built a complete team, and never will. There is always a weakness on his good teams. In the past he refused to pay safeties and always played crap players there. He decided that we could play with crap WRs another year. The past 10 years he's decided DL is not a priority. This year he went all in and didn't bother to get DL, RB or competent WR2/3. We have 2 rookies on the OL, and Martin has taken a big decline, but Jerry will play Martin and Steele no matter what, because he is paying them bid money.

Remember when Jerry gave Romo that big contract and refused to get him OL help? He said that with that big money Romo wouldn't need an all pro OL. He literally said the same thing about Dak this year. He s getting paid big money and must play to that level, yet he decided not to get him a competent help.

If you trade those 3 you are also screwed for 6 or 7 years minimum. You are now an offense with no good weapons, not even a number 2 level WR and a middling OLine. Meanwhile you are a defense now with no real big threat. We saw last week how easily a real offense moves it without Micah. The fact that you want that is hilarious.
