From the sound of it Barry Switzer should have wrote the book. All the material was sourced using his name?

Bayless is the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the media today. He is a no talent hack.

Where the reporter is part of the story and not third party reporting it.

I'd like to see troy kick Skips butt.

I'd pay money to see it, and I bet Troy would pay money to do it. Just once I would like to see tabloid dirtbags like Bayliss get clocked a good one. A broken nose might make him change his attitude.

Well Skip has sources. So according to the logic of many, he's just doing his job and it's just the sources are lying. Or something like that.

Obviously, Troy has earned an almost infinite amount more credit than Owens, but it goes to show that having 'sources' (if Skip and Mr. Blue Suit ever really had them) doesn't mean a reporter is doing their job, especially if there's an obvious vendetta at hand.

YAKUZA

Great point. Skip and Werder are both lying sacks of crap that hide behind so called anonymous sources.

Werder/TO reminds me of an episode of the wire and the fake serial killer that was generated by McNolte(sp).

I don't do Pay Per View. But if Aikman and Skip could meet in a celebrity boxing match I would pay the fee.
I don't do PPV either but I would for this. I'd cough up $50 if necessary.

Even better - Wrestlemania steel cage match with no referee. Now we're talking!

Let's see.

Skip spends a lot of time pondering Troy's sexuality in his third book about the Cowboys.

In Skip's first book, he talks about the "phallic" nature of the Dallas skyline, how he rebuffed advances from beautiful women associated with the Cowboys, and spends a lot of time writing about the sexual attractiveness of the Cowboys, as a team and as individuals.

One of his top sources for the book was Dextor Clinkscale, whom Skip described as brilliant and good-looking. A few years later, one of the guys who used to post on these boards said Dextor tried to pick up on him at a bar in South Carolina.

Here has always been my thing...why does it even friggen matter? If he came out and said he was gay would that have meant he suddenly didn't throw the ball as accurately as he did?

Would it somehow change the fact that he lead 3 teams to Superbowl titles? This obsession with Bayless, and people back then, on rather he was gay or not was just pointless and stupid.

I couldn't give a crap less if he was gay. If he was/is whatever that's his business. He can do as he pleases and it wouldn't have changed how great he was at the game of football.

There can't be that many "racist homosexuals" floating about out there, yet we're to believe Troy was one of them. You'd have better luck finding a Dodo bird.

Lets see, Barry Switzer works with Troy Aikman every day, has access to all the players 10 times more than Skip Bayless, AND is, by everyone's admission, very popular among the black players, but HE IS ASKING SKIP if it is true that Aikman is gay?

Lets see, Aikman is gay, Steve Young is gay, Jeff Garcia is gay... rich, popular, high profile QB's associated with California in some way, HAVE to be gay right?

Aikman not only denied it, he said what bothered him about it most is that it runs contrary to his beliefs. I heard him say that, with my own ears, on a radio interview by Brad Sham on the Bayless garbage back when Aikman was still playing. So he not only denied it, he denied it on the grounds of what he believes to be right and wrong. Not exactly a PC answer on it either.

Skip Bayless is a tool.
