He says why not? On Mike & Mike he and Screamin A are talking Cowboys. Skippy said The Eagles lost their best WR and questioned whether or not Foles can get it done at a high level again. The Boys almost swept the division last year. RG I I I is an emotional and psychological wreck. So by default the Cowboys should win the NFC East.

Then of course SAS laughs and talks about how the Dallas D sux, blah, blah, blah and are a joke.

I remember hating Bayless and thinking he was a complete fool until a few days after Jerry bought the Cowboys. He wrote in his Dallas Times Herald column that with Jimmy Johnson the Cowboys would be back in the Super Bowl within five years. I still thought he was a fool, until he was proven right. Now, no matter what spews from his mouth, I remember that one bold prediction.

I still think there's something wrong with him though.

We will win the division. Put it on the front page on bold print.

I think he's actually right, not because we are all that great but because nobody in the division is solid top to bottom. Every team in the division has issues. Injuries will probably decide who wins the East.

Outside of the AFC South, the NFC East is the weakest division in football and anyone of these teams can win it.

I think we have the talent that can win the division. It will require good coaching...and I'm just not a believer that we have that in Garrett. I think if we had either Harbaugh or Payton or Mike McCarthey or Carroll, we would find a way to win the division more often than not. But, I think with Garrett he's basically an 8-8 coach.

I remember thinking how much of an idiot Terry Bradshaw was as an analyst until he predicted "multiple" Super Bowls for the Cowboys right after they drafted Aikman. I give serious consideration to everything he says since then.

this ^^ hopefully with the addition of Scott Linehan as OC and play caller, Garret will be turned into just a figure head and minimize his impact on game day. All we need now is to hire a time out caller and someone to manage the clock during 2-minute time!

For them to win the division it will require...

Health...

Health...

And more health...

Oh and Lawrence/Spencer will need to provide some pass rush over the last 8 games of the season.

I think it could go any which way. I suspect it will go a lot like the last 3 years; down to the last game. But I could also see this season imploding and we're picking top 5.

I'm heartened by how terrible the Giants/Eli looked preseason. Also by how bad SF has looked. That seemed like a clear loss when the schedules were announced but they don't seem to all be on the same page out there.

5-1 in the division should give us 10-6 record. 6-0 in the division should give us an 11-5 record.

Our coaching is a liability, not an asset.

Skip is a Cowboys homer (like most of us). I expect him to say that every year.
