I think he's saying the road to the SB goes thru Seattle. Plus we play them whenever during the season.

True and while that is going to be a very difficult game it will not determine if Dallas wins the East or not. Meantime Philly, NY and Wash have to play them as well

Oh and the Chargers and the Broncos would both win the NFC East easily, so not sure why you would put the AFC West in the conversation.

Seriously both those teams wouldnt make it out of the season playing in a physical division like the NFCE and the AFCN. The teams in them divisions are too physical for most teams.

I think he is saying who cares if you win the division...they can't beat Seattle anyway.

He'll correct me if I misinterpreted his post.

It matter because like any team the 1st goal is to make post season. I don't know a team or a coach would not want a chance to play in post season. Seahawks are a favorite I get that but then favorites don't always get the ring

any team in our division could easily win the division. I'd say the only team with less than 50/50 odds are the NYG (I'm aware of the math issue). Everyone else has about as much chance as the other. If RG plays similar to his rookie year and now having Desean Jax…they could go on a tear….if he plays like last year, Wash could easily stumble to get to .500 again.
If our O plays like its expected to and our D is at least a bit better than last year, we could easily win those two or three games we should've won but lost last year. Or Romo could throw back-breaking 4th quarter INTs, JG can continue to mismanage games, and our defense could be worse than last year and look at 5-11'ish.
Philly and Foles could continue their tear and cruise in the division or really really miss Desean Jax, or Westbrook could get another concussion and philly's season essentially be over.
If the entire division is like it was last year, the winner will be an emphatic one and done playoff team anyway.
I honestly have no idea how it will play out Ws and Ls….but I do expect us to be largely similar to the last few years….good enough to really challenge the good teams, but lose; bad enough to have to eke out wins against bad teams, good enough to have games won against mediocre teams but mismanage the game or INT and lose a few we should've won,….basically the essence of mediocrity.
If playoffs are our goal, we only need to be good (or our rivals bad enough) to get one more win than we have been getting per season. JUST ONE!
If SB is our goal, then we need to be a bit better and ridiculously lucky (hey it worked for NE, Pitt (numerous X), NO, and StL). If WINNING the SB is our goal, we just have to be tons better in all phases.
