Skip Bayless

Sorry to add to the daily Bayless rants.....I must not read most of them because I really haven't seen that many

I wonder why the other "analysts" never call him out on it...

Actually they do. They laugh at him because his anti-Cowboys bias is so pervasive. I think it's the the point where they can't even take him seriously anymore.

Did anyone see the segment on ESPN where Bayless talked about the Cowboys? He was amazingly bitter. He slammed TO and said he should never be in the HOF, suggested he would melt down by the end of the season, and called Romo lucky.

He actually said that all the lucky breaks have bounced Romo's way and that somebody was going to knock the smile off his face by the end of the year. He said it almost as if he wanted to. I didn't realize how much of a Cowboy hater he is but it was obvious that he REALLY hates the boys.

Every bounce has not gone Romo's way. He has 13 interceptions and 2 fumbles. Several were returned for TDs.

I caught a small portion of Bayless on Thanksgiving morning. I liked when the other guy said(paraphrase) "we just need to move on because I did not realize that Skip was on crack this morning."

The guy was always a joke, but now he is utterly ridiculous. Romo is still rather new to the starter role and is still not proven in the post season, so I can somewhat understand being guarded about Romo getting the team to the Superbowl. Not to the extent that Bayless does, but most reasonable people can see that Romo has some more work to do. I just don't get the TO is not a Hall of Fame receiver argument. I am not a big TO guy, but I respect what he has done in his career. He is 9th in receptions, 10th in receiving yards, 3rd in receiving TDs, 35th in yards from scrimmage and 6th in rushing/receiving TDs. That is a HoF resume right now and those numbers will probably get better over the next few seasons.

My prediction will be that Skip comes around to liking Romo and will try to become pals with Romo. This will enable him to write a book bashing Romo and the Cowboys. That is how he operates.

He seems to hate a lot. He emanates bitterness and unhappiness. I can't say this with any conviction because I really don't know him. But he comes across as a bitter jerk. I find it difficult to watch him.

Skip says the same things every week my friend, you could just create one rolling thread that you bump weekly and nothing new would enter his argument.

Are you new? :D

Not trying to be an *** but skippy's hatred toward the Cowboys has been discussed ad nauseum. ;)

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF SKIP BAYLESS

This is the same guy that a few weeks ago was saying that the Cowboys would lose 7 of their last 9 games.

Tony's bound to have a bad game sooner or later, and that's when Skip can cry "I told you so." Lame, but that's his strategy.

Ah. poor Skippy..methinks he just got PO'ed because he heard Jessica Simpson invited Romo over for Thanksgiving...

Yea, I can just picture Skip....candles burning....bubbles in the hot tub....Liberace on the stereo......some potpouri...

And Skip sits there balling because Tony didn't show-up again.

:lmao:

Our favorite Skip Bayless story involves former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman. In his 1996 book "Hell-Bent," Bayless groundlessly speculates that Aikman might be gay. (We hate it when people do this.) Aikman, as rumor has it, went straight to his attorney to find out how much it would cost to beat the crap out of Bayless.

I would love to see Aikman get 5 minutes to beat the crap out of this creep.
