I have been around since the old board (I was MACowboyfan there but I moved) so I have seen references to people saying he was a hater. But they say that about Aikman and I have never seen that....I think he just tries to be fair to both teams.

Since I don't live in Dallas and I don't watch that much ESPN (I usually watch NFL network) I haven't actually seen this jerk in action like this before. There was venom in him. I just couldn't believe how obvious he was about hating the boys...especially since he makes his living on reporting about the Cowboys.

He's been a Cowboys hater for at least 25 years that I can remember. He was that way as a writer for the Dallas Times Herald, then as a writer for the Ft. Worth Star Telegram, and now on ESPN.

Same here. Skip Brainless has been spouting his garbage since the early 1980s. Why this man has a job in the media is beyond me:confused:

I think Skip's gettin' scared of the Cowboys success! He acts like a rat that's backed into a corner by the big fat cat with no way out! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

:laugh2: I love seeing Skip get all worked up trying to will his doom on the Cowboys in futility! The more Skip trys to doom the Cowboys the better the Cowboys get! Keep it up Skip, you'll have us at 15-1 and superbowl champs! But it doesn't really matter what you do, a soon to be dead rat can't stop a freight train!

Skins fan here. First, I'd like the chance to say all the support in the wake of the Sean Taylor tragedy has been much appreciated. I can't belive what you guys did to your site. Class act, all the way, thank you.

CZ is a good site, I mostly lurk, but when it comes to all matters of Skip Bayless, I can barely contain myself.

I actually looked at my Usercp, the last rep point I got on here almost a year ago...and it was a negative one from one of the mods because I called Skip Bayless a pretty crude name. I'll apologize to the mod (Yagermeister, I believe) for that, but I'd never apologize to Skip Bayless.

Skip Bayless is pretty much everything wrong with sportswriting and sports journalism today. If anyone, ANYONE, thinks that they can become a sportswriter or tv personality and get paid to share their opinions, they can look to Skip Bayless for inspiration...because Skip Bayless is proof positive that you can be a complete moron and be successful in todays day and age. Grantland Rice must be rolling in his grave.

I think Bayless has stopped writing his column for espn.com (thank goodness for minor miracles) but it'd be a complete blessing if the network were to can him altogether. Watching the two guys on 1st and 10 run circles around him during their debates is downright comical. If it were anyone else, I might feel sorry for them...but I can't stand Skip Bayless, so it's more of a bit of annoyance when I see that dumb look on his face he gets when he's trying to argue a point or when his cohosts go upside his head with a heavy dose of logic that seems to escape him.

Seriously! Seriously!!! How is this guy employed? I have yet to hear the man say ONE intelligent thing.

It's like a trainwreck, I want to look the other way but I just can't help but watch.

Did anyone see the segment on ESPN where Bayless talked about the Cowboys? He was amazingly bitter. He slammed TO and said he should never be in the HOF, suggested he would melt down by the end of the season, and called Romo lucky.

He actually said that all the lucky breaks have bounced Romo's way and that somebody was going to knock the smile off his face by the end of the year. He said it almost as if he wanted to. I didn't realize how much of a Cowboy hater he is but it was obvious that he REALLY hates the boys.

Rumor has it that he was sweet on Aikman (huge man crush).

The next thing you know he'll be in the booth calling games with Troy Aikman.

..poor Joe Buck. :eek::

Honestly, I get a hoot outta Skip and his anti-Cowboys bias (ACB). I mean you'd NEVER guess the guy came within an inch of numerous beatings during his years covering the 'Boys.

I think Woody left just get to away from Skippy's daily effeminate harangues... PMS (Permanant Menstr.... well, you get it). Jay routinely takes swipes at Skip RE the ACB - while the Stewart Brothers trade winks and smirks.

I love Skip more than ever. Because this may be our year - and it would greatly disappoint me if Skip wasn't available to provide at least the OPPORTUNITY for me to see him dig into a heaping plate of crow if things have unfolded OUR way when the dust has ultimately settled.

Bayless seems to have a bur in his butt when it comes to the Cowboys ever since he "outed" Aikman for being gay. Seems like this is a case of a jilted love when Troy had no interest in whatever advances Skip was making. Of course, a bur probably isn't the only thing Bayless has had up his butt.

now I know who Skip reminds me of!!!!

Remember when you were a kid, there was always that Guy people used to beat up on because it was fun? yup, that was who Skip was. Hell, with that first name, I bet he never made it home from school without getting pounded on

(no pun intended)
