While I agree that Zeke has not been in tip top shape this season, he has also not been helped by play calling.
When we saw Zeke as a rookie he was not a north south power back. He was a burst, outside the tackles runner. He needed, wanted the open field.
I don’t know if the Cowboys coaches asked him to bulk up or if he chose to, or if it’s jus the beer gut, but he’s clearly put on weight. And instead of giving him screens, sweeps, etc., they predominantly use him as a north south power back workhorse.
In my opinion that’s just one more example of a horrible misuse of resources. And another example of why we need a coaching change.

I've seen him come up limping after a few of his runs this year. Makes you wonder if he is playing hurt..

I haven't seen him look fast since the season began. He's strong and tough, a durable power back, but there's little speed, shiftiness or make-you-miss traits out there.

Totally. These sorts shows where a black guy and a white guy argue back and forth are completely scripted, but there is no denying that Zeke looks slow this year.

Zeke giving effort he's just not good and hasn't been for 3 years.

Having said that players have always played hard under Jason.

Like I said in another thread, I don't think Skip seriously as a true Cowboys fan. He switched from always hating on the Cowboys when he was on ESPN, to now acting like he is a fan of the Cowboys. He sees that either way the Cowboys gives him the attention that he wants for his job.
