Hey, if they had shown all of Eli's interceptions, it would have taken the entire show.
pathetic. i bet that company is full of giants and eagles fans.
Credit where credit due and it credit goes to Skip Bayless.
On First Take today the Cowboys Giants game was one of the subjects. So how did they lead into the game segment? They showed thirty seconds of NOTHING but Romo interceptions against them (going back a long time). Of all the intro highlights they could've used they did that!
It was embarrassing considering Eli's special INT show last week and Romo's play this year.
SAS went first and lamented the Giants, Coughlin and Eli and even though he picked the Giants he went into his little act of disgust over the team.
Then -- it was Skips turn and in a revelation, he immediately talked about how those Romo highlights were ancient history but were used because we have "Cowboy hating producers on this show."
He then went on to note the Cowboy's recent dominance over the Giants and at Met Life. It was a ten second, rare glimpse into something we all already knew.
That's it. Low quality compared to the other options.I don't watch ESPN's football coverage. For no other reason than I like other stations better.
I think Skip really did grow up a Cowboys fan being from Oklahoma. He only started hating them when Jerry signed T.O. and he had to go against them because he said they would never win with T.O. In the locker room.
As soon as T.O. Left he was back on the Bandwagon again.
Even in 100 years people will discuss how bad or unfair the coverage industry is. And i can only shake my head.
Do you really think espn cares one bit about substance ?
Do you really think espn or all the others care about truth or whetever you will call it ?
This is a company that has one goal: revenue.
The only question they have is: how do we increase our revenue.
And this will not be achieved by putting alot of work into good research or substance.
audience rating is what counts and you get most of the common people with mind candy.
Again: i cant understand how someone really wants to start a serious discussion about something the coverage industry sells.
I for myself watch those interviews or reports just for fun to have a good laugh. Because all those statements are just fake. Do you really think what those people say is really their opinion ? Its just something that will get them the most viewers. Really smart people in the background have scripted the whole conversation with only rating in mind.
But it makes me sad to see what people are willing to do to earn their money. Making a clown out of myself would not be my goal in life. Not for all the money in the world. But then i dont think those reporters have alot of other choices.
I could definitely see Skip running around saying "how bout them cowboys" after a Super Bowl win.

Just win and they shut up.
Just watched the clip. The fact ESPN cherry picked stats from 2009-2012 proves they are 100% being biased. To ignore Dallas has beaten the Giants 3 straight times and 4 of the last 5 is complete crap.
Seems you win and they cherry pick stats to showcase you are still a loser.
I have no problem with First Take or ESPN. They are forms of entertainment and people can complain all they want but ESPN does a solid job with their NFL coverage. You may not like their analysts and that's fine but they do a decent job. They are no different than NFL network.
Highlights of Romo throwing int's.....I mean who even cares or notices that? Its First Take. Skip's whole "gimmick" of pretending to be a die hard Cowboys fan is what the show is built around along with Stephen A's hate for them so of course they're going to show something to get that whole schtick going.
Well, the problem as I see it is that when you're the biggest sports network in the largest national power on Earth and can influence millions of sports fans, you'd simply like what they put out to be the unbiased truth.
It isn't always that way though, and there are legions of fans that parrot ESPN and are incorrect in what they say.
It is frustrating to the main group of football fans who actually watch closely enough to know the truth.
Notice I said football fans and not Cowboy fans, because ESPN does it to more than just the Cowboys.
You watch ESPN?
Honestly, from what I've seen of the show, Skip is a huge Cowboys homer. Every time I've seen him talk about them he refers to them as "my Cowboys".
The loud, annoying one, though hasn't ever said a good thing about Dallas.
