I definitely think Skip's 'supporting' of the Cowboys is a 'gimmick' to generate ratings. It bothers me that Skip 'supports' the Cowboys only because I know it is B.S., but I have to admit that I do like to watch SAS and Skip go at it because I love when anyone talks Cowboys, especially when the Cowboys are winning. When they are losing though, it is tougher for me to watch because I'd like to punch SAS in his smug face (not really).

Well maybe just once.

I'm with you 100%. I've come to love it lol. But it also infuriates me that Skip is the "voice" of diehard Cowboy fans. But in order for the Cowboys to get their daily coverage on 1st Take....Skip plays the role of diehard.

And I agree about SAS. But i'll say this for him. He plays the role of Cowboy hater very well lol. All his statements he makes...I've heard them all from Cowboy haters lol. Atleast he doesn't hide his hate unlike people like Faulk who CLEARLY hates them but masks it with "I'm just telling the truth" type statements.

Honestly, from what I've seen of the show, Skip is a huge Cowboys homer. Every time I've seen him talk about them he refers to them as "my Cowboys".

The loud, annoying one, though hasn't ever said a good thing about Dallas.

It's expected tho, he's a giants fan. I like the sense that they allow them to still root for their fave team, unlike nfl network were you have blatant bias from clowns like faulk, and Sapp who act as if they are neutral .
