Jerry said everything he's bought that was high quality he has overpaid for including the team... because that's what you do if you want the best.
He did not say he overpaid with the context that Dak was not worth that money.

I think you're right. Even if he believes he overpaid, I don't believe the correct context of his statement was that Dak wasn't worth the money.

Dak ISN’T worth that. He hasn’t won **** yet. Jerry should’ve told him and France to go hang in Cabo.

1. It wasn't your money so who are you to say what is his worth?

2. He is an individual, an individual doesn't determine the result of any game, that is a function of the team. Football is a team sport and all results, (win-lose, or tie) is the sum total of the team effort, not an individual. So when you say, "he hasn't won yet", that's faulty logic. The team has not won anything in Dak's time there, this is true but it is not the fault of Dak, it is the team that shares that ignominy.

When you fail to understand these higher intellectual concepts, you reveal your own ignorance. ;) Wise up.

You must not have watched the press conference to hear the context with which he said he overpaid.
Lol, yeah that does matter. I watched the press conference and I didn't think Jerry said anything controversial, and believe me, I'm always looking to bash Jerry. But no story here. I thought the press conference was good.

Respect the way Dak held his ground and got his money. Now, he is no longer the low expectations QB that everyone on the team respects. Dak will be looked at by teammates with a different lens. If he fails to deliver a SB it will change his perception amongst some of the team (players, coaches, front office).

Dak got his money, but he was also handed a boatload of expectations. Can he deliver?

You can't overpay an elite quarterback. If Jerry thinks he overpaid Dak, then he shouldn't have signed him at all.
How can you be an ELITE QB when you haven't won a dam thing??????? What the h@#$ are they putting in the water down there is Big D?????? Jimmy Johnson said it best when he came out in his last interview that Dak Prescott is AVGERAGE at best!

Frankly I am surprised anyone pays attention to anything Jerry says. He offers zero insight. Certainly on football matters he is a simpleton. Add to the fact his cognitive abilities have slipped now more than ever he is to be ignored. The doddering old fool just likes to talk in front of a camera and sound smart. 100 pct of the time he comes off as a dementia addled fool. If that navel gazer wanted to save a few bucks he should have signed Dak 2 years ago and let his lazy RB stay in Cabo.

He didn’t say Dak was average at best.

There’s going to be a photo with Dak/Zeke/Jaylon in Cabo and it will make a great thread.
