Skyrim Remaster to be announced at E3?

I couldn't care less about remasters. It's still outdated graphics.

Don't care much about the Skyrim (or any others in the series either. Just can't get into them.

Only thing I am waiting for from E3 is whether or not the PS4 Neo will have a UBD drive, or if I should just go ahead and get the Samsung player.

Biggest thing with a Skyrim Remaster would be mod support. The mod support would potentially let you play improved versions of the the last 3 games in the true series on current gen consoles. If it doesnt have mod support ( Fallout 4 does) then its pretty a quick money grab

Also with Fallout 4 out and them working on DLC, it could be a longer time then normal for TES 6. They could potentially lose some in that fanbase in the 8 to 9 years in between 5 and 6

Hmmm remaking Skyrim over Daggerfall or Morrowind is a real head scratcher.

I've bought remastered games on the next gens but really wish the trend would swing back towards new IPs. I love GTA, Res. Evil, Assassins Creed (3 and Unity were meh), etc. but they are becoming almost too reliant on these remastered/ported games (esp Konami) tbh. Yes, I own the Nathan Drake Collection, GTA 5, and the Last of US remastered. :D:facepalm:

Man, you can mod the heck out of Skyrim to the point it's in 4K and completely overhauled. This game has been modded to death.

One of the main reasons I got an X1 too, the external hard drive and BC. Got it used for $100. Worth it though, some good IPs on there too and got some Killer Instinct back.:D Rumor is developers aren't too excited of the "how to" in making games for the PS 4.5 but who knows tbh.

Looks like E3 is a waste for me this year. Sony confirmed the Neo, but won't show it at E3 and didn't provide the three details I wanted (4k blu-ray, release date, and price). The worst I could have hoped for. At least if they said it wouldn't have a drive I could make a decision on buying another player, now I am still in limbo.

My b, misinterpreted what you meant in your initial post. Sony is ahead and knows they can coast a bit; sucks. E3 is becoming more of what is expected to be announced later or displaying games that will be knowingly delayed (at times). It used to mean much more unfortunately.

Daggerfall was awesome back in the day. I'd hate to see what the graphics actually looked like, because I think they've been updated in my memory. But I loved that game.

Kinda like going back and playing the original Diablo lol

I reinstalled the original Baldur's Gate a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how bad it looked. It my mind it had stayed as up to date as it was when I first saw it. My memory was apparently upgrading the graphics to modern standards.

I got the original Syphon Filter on PSN not too long ago. My god they all looked like lego men lmao

This is so true. The only games that seem to age well are fighting games. Even then you overlook the graphics bc of the strategy element, etc. Street Fighter and Marvel v Capcom mainly.
