I am hopeful, but I believe teams will find it much easier to take Pickens out of the game than they did Lamb. Pickens is not running crisp routes, and he’s not quick. Great deep threat and very good number 2, but I think defenses will find him easy to double, and there will be great pressure on someone else to win consistently.

I think we will see much more 12 personnel groupings and lots of passes to TEs.

The real question is...can dak take advantage of this skill set.

Defenses are going to roll coverage his way and force Dak to beat them throwing to Ferg, Tolbert, et all. This is where they need to get Blue on the field. Even if only for 10-15 reps. His gamebreaking speed forces defenses to respect him as a receiver, opening up the field for others.

I told y'all Dallas should have brought in super fast, very quick and very good separation route runners like Isaiah Bond and Silas Bolden this summer just to check them out. One or both could have definitely helped right now with CeeDee out for the next 4 weeks and this offense lacking true speed, excellent quickness and good separation route runners at receiver.



But, hey, what do I know? I just like wasting my time and breath.......even though time keeps proving me right time after time.

So true, I was thinking the same. Sauce Gardner and Jaycee Horn await. Pickens could do a lot for his stock by ballin out in this stretch.
