I think the end dance was a throwback to bollywood movies where they'll just at any moment bust out into song and dance. I think it was included as an omage to the indian movie culture.

Speaking as someone from the "desi" culture, that's exactly what it was, even though it was goofy, and just plain bad.

Besides that, the movie was brilliant. It should win the Oscar.

I was watching Far and Away the other day, or bits of it, drifting to talk on here

but I forgot how good of an actor Tom Cruise was, he used to be a pretty good actor, but now he's kind of stiff and just says his lines basically

I agree with you, I was watching the Valkyrie previews, and Tom Cruise sounded just like he did in Mission Impossible, I thought he was going to go and try to defuse a nuclear bomb

I generally agree.... but his part in Tropic Thunder was WAAAAY out there. It was just bizarre.

What's ya'all's take on Heath Ledger's "Joker" role, and his probably winning the Oscar posthumously?

I'm biased, because I have a tattoo of Batman on my leg. But THAT WAS a once in a lifetime part and portrayal by the guy....................

But back to Tom Cruise..............I haven't seen a Tom Cruise movie since "The Color of Money", and the only reason I even spent a few bucks on that was because I shoot a lot of pool, and Paul Newman CAN act.........

No.

Because, I've had diarrhea 3 or 4 times, so I don't have to go through it another 20+ times to understand how miserable it is......................

I've been to 3 or 4 funerals, so I don't have to DIE to understand that I want no part of it...............
