that definitely could of caused the ball to hang in the air longer than normal and gave the LB time to run under it.

Enjoy the cropped and still interlaced 1080i.

Ware forced this same type of play versus RG3 last Thanksgiving on the duck pass that he threw up to be intercepted after having his throwing base removed.

Looking at this gif he seems locked into Escobar, didnt even see Murray underneath

Still doesn't get the 1st down. Still would have been 3rd and long...

It would have been 3rd and 5. The way they had been playing they get that 1st down.

And no one is talking about the hold on Harris' kickoff return. Or the hold on Dez catch to begin the drive.

Anybody blaming Romo after this .gif, especially after his performance is smoking crack and every other hard core drug at the same time...

The gif is only showing the throwing motion, not his progressions. I would hope he's looking at his intended target when throwing the ball, otherwise he'd be a genie or something...

I rewatched the play he doesnt see Murray underneath

Let's not intellectualize this trying to blame Romo... he couldn't step into his throw.. BTW, Leary is coming to save Romo at the last second from getting hit because the defender has his man beaten.

They still had 3 TOs left and time to get the ball back. They als shouldn't have been in a 2nd and distance situation forcing the Cowboys to mke up ground, because it was a clear horsecollar and QBs are suppose to get the benefit of the doubt, even if it was close to not being outside the pocket.

I doubt he needs to see it, it's probably a guarantee that he knows the play and knows where everybody will be going by memory. What he's looking at is the coverage.

Doesn't matter if you have the ball and then have to punt, the situation is the same.

It's hilarious how many of you want have your cake and eat it too.

It doesn't matter if we had the ball? Not having the ball cost us the game.

I feel great about Romo converting a 3rd and long yesterday.

Do you not see your hypocrisy? Romo was able to move the ball for the exact reason you saw us passing on that 2nd and 16.

You can't have it both ways.

What cost us the game was our D couldn't stop the Broncos offense one single time outside of them giving the ball back to us (the turnovers).

I can have it both ways because there was no need to try and fit that ball into traffic right there. Especially when you have a guy open underneath.

It's not hindsight. They had 2 1/2 minutes with 3 time outs and the 2 minute warning to get the ball in fg range. It was an eternity, and they needed to kill all of that time so Peyton and co would have no chance. They should have come out running, especially with what Denver's defense was doing.

Yep. Instead they came out in a formation that made it clear to the defense they were going to pass. I'm sure there were plenty of people screaming at their TV "why aren't you running?"

Did it cause him to throw into tripple coverage too?

When you watch the play from the endzone camera there was a big enough window to throw the ball. Romo was unable to put a lot of zip on the ball when he tried to step up but Smith stepped on his foot. Romo had hit that same rout vs the same coverage on other occations through out the game.

The D definetely cost us the game but Romo had a chance to win it. He had the ball and he gave it to the other team.

If Romo didn't have the perception that he was a choker we could look past that pick. But yesterday was just another one to add to the no Tony no plays.

We saw the guy throw an AWFUL pick in a win and we're in game against Washington last year. In the biggest of moments Romo will break your heart.

Game of the season yesterday he plays incredible.. Then he throws a pick and it was HIS fault.
