I think the reason that Romo is considered overrated is because of a lack of post season success combined with the late season meltdowns.Personally I would be curious as to how popular Romo would be if he were on another team.If Romo was in Oakland how much media attention would he receive or for that matter would he even be a blimp on the media's radar?

I think you can absolutely make a case for TO being overrated if his "rating" is that he is on eof the top 5 WR's in the game today.

His numbers this year clearly say he's not. Perhaps last year's numbers as well.

I'm not hating on him. Its just that he's now, what 35 years old, and not producing like he once did. Is it all his QB's or OC's fault? Honestly, I don't think a reasonable person would say that TO hasn't dropped off as well.

There's your case for overrated.

I don't think TO is over rated. To be over rated people first have to rate you very high. No one rates TO very high. Any time he is mentioned all of his negatives are brought up first. People rarely bring up any positives about TO. How is that over rated? I don't think it is. It doesn't matter if his actual skills have diminished or not because people don't really think much of him anyway. That is far from being over rated. Maybe he is over discussed and his media coverage doesn't match his output, but that is not all on TO.

The list is certainly a joke. Josh Freeman can't be overrated though, man - he wasn't ever rated

Ted Ginn isn't good enough to be overrated either. Romo, Favre, TO, and Rivers being on this list makes this list a complete joke. Even Merriman - dude's coming off a season-ending knee injury.

I think it's more because he plays for the Cowboys and the Cowboys quarterback - if he's any good - gets overhyped.

I think the vote is based on "overhyped" more than "overrated." And "overhyped" has more to do with media coverage than anything.
