Snap counts vs bears

Still don't know why people are so mad about this. Lamb has been getting handoffs since he got here in 2020 and even has scored touchdowns as a runner.

You get the ball into the hands of your best players. The injury was a fluke. It could have happened as a receiver too.
Yeah and you can run your car 2 quarts low on oil but it's not a good thing to do and eventually it ends up like CD blown up.

You're exactly right you get the ball in the hands of your best playmakers .
In CD's case that would mean you pass him the ball with him going one-on-one against the other team's best cornerback.

The guy is built like Randy Moss you ever see Randy Moss play running back no

they threw him the ball just like they should throw CD the ball not line him up like John riggins or Jim Brown he is not that type of playmaker .

This idiot coaching staff needs to understand what type of playmaker he is and use him in that fashion not try to make him into a battering ram he is not built for that.

But because this batch of morons running this franchise that hasn't won anything meaningful in 30 years has run CD before people think it's okay to do it.

Very foolish and shortsighted

Since we're talking about snap counts do you think we could give Blue some snaps.

I mean okay if he's a mental midget we don't have to make it too complicated.
Something basic like Dak hands him the ball and he does like Gale Sayers runs to daylight.

Just sounds like a better plan then trying to make our 37 million dollar number one wide receiver into a running back.

Here are the snap counts for the bears game yesterday.
Some things that stood out to me:
  • The bears only had 59 snaps; but 19 of them were on that one drive in the 3rd qtr!
  • Mazi Smith had 18 snaps and did not register in the stats. (It’s past cut time IMO!)
  • Backup Corner Reddy Stewart had 47 snaps and had 6 tackles, 2 TFLs. At least he’s playing hard.
  • LB Marist Liafau mysteriously remains in Matty E’s doghouse. He had 8 snaps.
What else?

We need to be patient with Mazi. He is making progress, but it just takes time.

BC we literally have Jaden Blue rotting, we have 0 touches and only 9 plays for our FB we just extended, and Lamb gets well over 100 touches per season. He doesn't need anymore.

Not to mention we have Turpin for this....
