Snap counts vs eagles

Here are the snap counts from last Thursday in Philly.

Some things that stood out:
  • Hunter Luepke with only 8 snaps.
  • Good to see Tyler Guyton play all 61 offensive snaps coming off that TC injury.
  • Elam, Bland, Murray and Wilson played all 63 defensive snaps
  • Liaufau only played 6 defensive snaps.
What stood out to you?

Well before I get to the obvious of what stood out to me.

I liked Kenny Clark
Tyler guyton looks like he has matured and should continue to improve
our offensive line looked pretty good
we were able to run the ball and stop the run a little bit.
We didn't have a good answer for when Jalen hurts ran the ball.

Finally CD lamb was a total inexcusable disappointment.

You flat out cannot pay a guy 37 million to catch the ball and have him have those kind of drops.
I watched college and pro players all weekend none making anywhere near what he makes have spectacular catches.

He completely squandered our opportunity to win against our division rivals the world champions in their house a rare opportunity at best and he did not do his job.
The players that wore that number before him were clutch and the playmaker
I'm beginning to think CD stands for Continual Drops.
A guy that takes up that much of the cap needs to be an impactful positive game changer not the guy that loses you important games.

Not 100% sure but after looking at it again… It is probably the tackles he made on ST.

It is interesting because coaches always tend to play the guys they trust more. Either Eberflus trusts Murray more or someone is making them play Murray.

Murray was the Green Dot.

In the NFL, the green dot on a player's helmet indicates that the helmet is equipped with a coach-to-player (C2P) radio system, allowing that player to receive one-way instructions from the coaching staff during the game. Only
