Osa, Clark and Thomas have been the few bright spots along the DL.

I agree. He has shown more than the guys ahead of him, sadly.

But serious question: what player on our defense would be considered a “centerpiece” to build around? It’s not hard to see from the couch that this defense is starved for playmaking talent.

Bland is a good corner, but much of his success came from how good the pass rush was in ‘22 and ‘23. Right now, opposing QBs can comfortably eat a ham sandwich in the pocket whi”e leisurely going through every progression.

None. We don't have one. And to be clear, Micah was not that either.

Why? Horrific GM. Has no clue how to build a D. Absolutely terrible at evaluating players. And doesn't want to get better at it.

Ranked 33rd as an NFL GM. Why? Because he's not a GM. Refuses to do GM duties or any work. He's beyond horrific, much worse than most people think. Might be worst GM of all time.

In 81 snaps in 2 games so far, Odighizhua has 3 solo tackles, 4 assists, 0 sacks, 5 pressures and 1 hit, No TFLs.

Not great. Not bad.

A good GM would recognize that Osa Odighizhua is way more effective with a pass rusher that requires a lot of attention. Without that, Osa becomes way less effective. He’s good, not great.

I would really like to know what is up with Liufau. 9 snaps is almost a punishment.

I am more convinced that the signing s of Bland, Luepke and Ferguson were timed to take the heat off for the Micah trade.

The only thing I can figure is that Liufau got in everflops doghouse somehow
