Tony Dungee said his championship team went through the same thing.
Dungy is a moron.

His ONE championship season was 2007. The Colts were never shut out and their one loss in their final seven games was in the final week when they lost after resting starters.

Why people think what he has to say is especially noteworthy baffles me.

He was a run of the mill coach that gets way too much respect.

It wasn't just a loss. It was a violation. The offense was inept. The defense lacked testicular fortitude. The coaches were mind boggled.
This. I’m not worried about getting in the playoffs. Just worried about what we’ll do when we get there. Our D And run game is not as dominate as I thought. I figure that was a great combination to win in the playoffs. We cannot execute on either side. Need to start clicking.

If anything, the coaches were mind boggled by their own players today. They tried calling good plays, but the guys were dropping the ball, holding everyone, and missing tackles.........It was an absolute crapfest, and I blame the players completely.

I am not actually worried about the offense or the ST since both have been inconsistent all year. We've seen the offense move the ball only to stall in the redzone and then the kicker miss the kick few times already. They did what they usually do.

I am little worried about the defense from today's loss. They looked completely different than what we've seen from them all year.

Agreed! Indy is a good team with a VERY good QB. They were desperate and at home. A dropped TD pass, blocked FG, and a handful of horrible calls snowballed into a shutout.
That's our game though. We've been leaving
points all over the field during this win streak, but the defense and the wins deodorized the stench of this offense. Today the defense was crap, and the results were indicative.

I really think we're going to be kicking off in New York with the division on the line. Foles is simply superior to Wentz, and the Eagles now have a good chance to win out. Hopefully Wentz recovers enough to play next week.

To compound matters, Zeke is hobbling because they refused to get him out of there today despite having zero chance to win after the first drive of the second half. And that could get cost us next week.

funny, I've heard "not worried about Dallas" quite a bit myself lately. Not in the same context though.. .

A lot of penalties again this week, 9/74. Several of those negated big plays or 1st downs or extended their drives. As Witten would say, "can't keep kicking yourself in the foot."

SNF panel stated there's nothing to worry about. Dallas will be fine and they'll rebound. Tony Dungee said his championship team went through the same thing.

The sky is not falling Cowboy fans .
But, but, but . . . . but the sky may not be falling but it had a crack in it!! Dungee had a better QB!

But he was better than Garrett, but you know that.

Zek needs to stop trying to hurdle guys. He’s going to get flipped on the back of his head.

Seemed like every positive play was called back by penalty.

Maybe so, but I’d wager he knows more about football than you or I.

Agreed. I’d rather we get punched in the mouth now and get a wake up call. Just hoping it does wake them up.

It's not so much about getting punched in the mouth. Good teams lose, even badly. It happens. What's concerning about today's loss is it wasn't that surprising. Our offense has been terrible all year. We beat the Saints but we only scored 13 points. Today's game is the likely outcome when our defense isn't on its A-game. Our offense has been riding their coattails all year and we just saw what happens when the D doesn't hold its own.
