....highly publicized Commissioner's RoundTable session with Theismann, Woodson and Irvin I would expect that Hines Ward and the Steelers would get a private discussion from either a league representative or Goodell himself.

You can't spout off some of the ideals that Goodell has presented publicly and then allow a player to say the type of insinuations that Hines Ward has offered up the media.

I won't say Ward is a bad guy, but his quotes seem to border on being a "no no" to me.
