Snowden suspended 3 games

It would be odd to get "suspended" at your regular job for it. They'd either let you work or get fired.

NFL is weird, even for a sports organization.
The "justice" system said Zeke was not guilty, and even have witnessess saying she lied. NFL's own female investigator said there's nothing there. The Cowboys execs wanted to be done with the matter. But GODell suspends him?

MEanwhile Ray Lewis does NFL commentary.

Meanwhile, the NFL is in bed with sports betting, advertising spreads before and during game. So an entity that could possibly affect it's own outcome, urges you to bet on it?

Weird stuff.
The Zeke case was ridiculous. That's an incident very few people knew about until the league brought it to everyone's attention.

For most people, getting a DUI has no affect on your employment. Because it doesn't affect your job. I'm a toll collector, I don't get randomly drug tested. When I worked road maintenance I did. Because I drove company vehicles.

It's just weird. Let the team suspend him if they want. Why does the league have to get involved? These aren't alter boys and everyone knows it.
It seemed like particularly when the Ray Rice domestic violence incident occurred that there were several incidents where the league was being blasted for not taking a stand, for being too soft on players. That's where the Ezekiel Elliott suspension came into play. Now, it seems like they don't want to be seen that way again. Of course, the league seems to be inconsistent in that effort, but we don't know everything that's happening behind the scenes. We don't know what interaction they've had with a player because they don't really publicize that.
