So about that Eagles' draft.......

I kind of feel that way too, but with Dez and Beckham Jr. in the division, his defensive backs would have ruined his season before it even got off the ground.

That might be overstating it a tad but the NFC East WR's made him have to do something. I bet he blames missing the playoffs on his DB's after watching Dez steal his defense's lunch money.

Got a feeling the Eagles tank this year.

I don't like the way that team looks and I think Washington is about to bounce back and start contending for 2nd place on a regular basis.

I don't think Washington will ever win the East anytime soon.

This year will be all about Dallas and New York imo.

I agree with that 7th round pick for sure... I don't know why any team wouldn't have made that pick and redshirted him.

I read some where that his injury was worse than one thought so maybe that is the reason. Then again I would have taken a flyer on him if my medical people told me his knee was fine.

Agholor, according to his scouting report, can't beat anyone deep, can't shake physical defenders, and is most effective out of bunch formations. In other words, he can't get open.

He was completely shut down by one of the top college CB's last season.

Every NFL CB is physical. He was graded as a mid-2nd round pick. Once again, Chippy is smarter than everyone else, just like he was so smart last year when he picked that LB that can't get on the field.

But, according to Iggles fans, he's the best player in the draft.

The Iggles will tank since 4 of their wins last year were pure luck due to turnovers on D and ST. Their 5th win was when the Giants laid down for draft position. The refs also gave them a 6th win in Indy.

With some lucky bounces, they'll get 8 wins, maybe 9. But teams know Chips offense now. Instead of just the great defenses shutting him down, the above average defenses will be shutting him down this year as well.

Don't forget that Chip has about 8 starters who were on the trade block. Good luck with your locker room Chippy.

Hey guys I still like to think im new to the board... but is this guy like a shtick on here??

Like "Im a cowboys fan who dosent want to sound like a blind homer shtick"

Because he is giving grades based on potential of the picks the teams took... yet he immediately decides to past judgement on a cowboys player on things not involved on the field when we should base the draft only on the talent we were able to acquire

Why can't one take the view that Gregory's off-field issues diminish his potential? Seems an entirely reasonable view to take, in the circumstances. No "shtick" required.

Shtick is a polite description. Some people post with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response.

I would say the correct terminology is Dutch Uncle. I agree with him 3/4 of the time and find him incredibly amusing when he thinks outside the box.

I thought they had the worst draft of the NFC East teams. I like Rowe and Shepherd but not much else.

That draft could have helped them and they chose to ignore their OL, push Kendricks out the door by drafting Jordan Hicks and drafted a possession receiver and a couple of corners.

It was pretty glorious to watch a draft implode like that. It is almost they were anticipating Mariota and then had no plan thereafter.

Did the skins get a new GM? this is not their typical draft at all.

It still was not great. The Scherff and Preston Smith picks were solid, but Matt Jones in the third? I would be freaking out at that kind of reach. Crowder is okay, but they had an average back half of their draft. That said, it was not as bad as the Eagles.

I think you can question the Scherf pick a little bit too. They could have taken Williams there and then gone for a guard a little later I bet.

Yes of course, but they did not get a bad player.

I loved their first two picks. Crowder, Kouandjio and Spaight where they got them.

Hey, if you want I can claim any negative comments I made pre-draft about players the Cowboys drafted were "copy and paste errors", but that's not my style. No spin zone here. Bring your big boy pants.

If T.J. Clemming went in the 7th round it wouldn't had been the best pick in that round. The guy is a human turntable.

lmao!!!

I get what the guy is saying. If you're projecting the "potential" of players, it would make sense to do it evenly across the board regardless of transgressions. Then again, if that were how teams did it, Gregory would have gone top 10... So there's that.

not sure about all the eagles picks but their first 2 picks were very good, this seems like Chip taking complete control of the eagles to me.

That's all it is. It doesn't speak to their draft this year at all. He just flushed Howie Roseman's guys.
