sad as it is for me to say, this is the least excited i've been about a boys/skins game in years. the skins can't put away anybody- they epitomize playing down to their competition. they lack killer instinct. and alot of fans think it comes from gibbs and trickles down, making it even harder to deal with.

if that wasn't bad enough, sean taylor- having a career year and always geared up to hit TO- is out. witness mcnabb slinging it downfield with abandon after taylor went down last week. this week, its romo and TO.... great.

a dinged up secondary, O line, and WR corps (i'm talking about moss and thrash- who i actually like, not lloyd) going against the resurgent dallas cowboys, and you have the makings of a nearly unwatchable game.

so, is there any reason the point spread is only 10 1/2? :(

No, not really. But it's not because you guys aren't healthy.

No. I stopped being worried after eagles. When we beat them I knew it was over. They say you can't just break out and beat a team that has been dominating you for so long unless your talent and ability is much better than they are.

I thought there is still a good shot that Moss plays, by the way.

No not worried at all, even if your team isn't injured but then I wasn't worried against patsies either. Worrying doesn't do anything, it's a wasted energy.

BTW, even when your team was healthy, your team wasn't all that don't act like your injuries are the main reason you are 5-4, mediocre team.

I always worry whenever the Cowboys play. It's leftover from those days when we were so awful. If the Cowboys play this game with the intensity they have been bringing to all their games this year, we should win it very comfortably. But still, on Saturday night I'll start getting nervous and concerned but I now consider that good. The only time I wasn't nervous and concerned this year was against the Pats.

Not worried about losing, but I do think you guys could put up a big fight. There's almost too much complacency about this game.

But unlike in years past, I think we're good enough now to still win games when we don't play our best.

Though I will say that if Bigg doesn't play, I think it'll show up.

Its a rivaly game, so yes.

Its a chance to notch another win in the division; so yes.

I do think we'll beat you guys. But I am still worried.

I worry that people will complain about us running up the score in the second quarter.

Man this post sure is filled with alot of EXCUSES. It's midseason, every team has injuries... Fact is, your team just isn't very good and your coaching staff is old and extremely conservative...

Not one bit, I dont see how the Skins offense can keep up with Dallas. The Skins have a solid defense but our offense is just too good, they are going to get their.

i'd be more excited about the game if the skins were healthy. but i still wouldnt put the skins on the level of the cowboys if they were.

anything can happen in these games, but as a fan of the underdog in this matchup, i'm less optimistic.

Complacency within the fans maybe but I gaurantee not within the team. I bet they're anxious for sunday to arrive...

figures somebody from my hometown would have trouble comprehending a simple post.

1st paragraph- the team isnt that good. 2nd paragraph- that fact is exacerbated due to some key injuries.

stop being so freaking defensive and understand when someone is complementing your team.

I would be worried if it was last year....This year's team has a swagger about them, and it starts with the coaching staff. It's good to have Garrett as a OC because he understands the rivalry, the division, and he's experienced the SB feeling. The advantage is that we are playing at home and Texas Stadium will be rocking........

People forget we beat the same players (except for TO and Romo) 35-7 just 2 years ago. There is no reason we can't win if Gibbs makes a good Master Plan for this one.

Not being defensive dude, just hate when people throw out injuries when talking about their team. We've played without Glen, Fergy, Ellis, TNew, Henry and whoever else. Its midseason, its football and everybodys got injuries. Thats why you should have good depth to keep things rolling until your starters come back.. Thats all I'm saying.. relax!!!

Anything can happen.

BUT, as long as we don't commit turnovers and we're "up" for this game, I think we can put up a lot of points.

I don't think your offense will be able to match.
