So can I assume Dallas Fans will root for the Skins to beat the Beagles next Monday?

I just assumed the Eagles was the most hated team in the division. Am I wrong?

It can't be the skins because they haven't won anything in 17 years

Dallas-Philly a bigger rivalry than Dallas-Washington?:lmao: We only hate Philly because of their idiotic fans. The hatred goes much deeper with the fans, players, coaches, etc. with the foreskins.

I'll be rooting for the Eagles. I might throw up in my mouth a little bit, but I'll be OK.

I'm not ready for the 'Skins to be 2-0.

One of these teams is going to be 1-0 in the East. I'd rather not be tied with either of them.

Also, I don't really root for either of these teams. I root for me to be right. And I think the Eagles are a better team than the Skins. So if the Eagles win, that means I'm smart, which is almost as important as the division standings. :)

So you rather a team with the best QB in the NFC to be 1-1 and not in the basement of the division at 0-2? Also a team that will have less and less confidence by time they face Dallas if they are not winning. Dallas split with the Skins last year and you want to see the team win who kicked out *** twice last season

I think next weeks game is probably one of the most important games for the Skins this year. We're really going to find out where the Skins stand and if the issues they had last year were properly addressed in the offseason.

This season seems to remind me a lot of 2005. They beat a team at home in a close game against a team that most perceive to be a bad football team. (This happened in 2005 as well, when everyone assumed that the Bears were bottom dwellers, but they ended up having one of the best defenses in the league, and they made the playoffs).

Then they go into a situation that everyone thinks they're going to lose in Philly (it was Dallas in 2005, no one gave us a chance to win that one).

With the local media getting down right nasty with their Skins coverage -- I mean, I don't blame them for some of it; the Skins haven't done anything note worthy, recently, but it gets down right ridiculous sometimes -- they're just adding fuel to the fire.

I would definitely put my money on the Eagles, but I wouldn't be shocked if the Skins were to upset the Eagles, we can usually run on them and Lito Sheppard is out. I just think the Skins have a chip on their shoulder.

trust me, it won't be, you could lose horribly, and still be in position to do something this year

as much as it pains me to even mention you guys, and doing something, in the same sentence

Miami isn't a bad football team-not a great one, but their nasty D is something special. I was switching back and forth b/w the Skins and Eagles game. I thought the Skins looked pretty good.

I don't hate the Skins and Giants like most fans in this rival, but my seething hatred for the Eagles is largely b/c of the crude, classless, and arrogant fans-when they lose, it's always nice to see them get the wind sucked out of them.

If we take care of our own business, the outcome of the game wont' be relevant.
Since I think that we will, I will root for a tie.

Dude. How many different ways are you going to ask this question?
And McNabb is *not* the best QB in the NFC anymore--if he ever was.

Yeah but, I'd like to see the Skins do something big this year. No 8-8s, no 9-7s, I want to see 10-6 or above. This staff has been here for 4 years now, there's no excuse for it. Hell, even Norv Turner was able to take our team to 9-7 type seasons. This is Joe Gibbs, he's supposed to do better than that.

If we were to lose to the Eagles, it would be more of the same; while it's still early in the season, I think it would ultimately point to an 7-9 8-8 type of year.

Is that the way I want to see Joe Gibbs go out? No way.

Especially if the cowboys beat the Dolphins and go 2-0. Now I know some of you will say why because if the Eagles win they will be tied at 1-1 with the skins. But wouldn't it be better to have the defending NFC East Champs 0-2 than 1-1? i know everyone remembers the Cowboys being SWEPT by the Eagles last season

Never. I want them to lose. While it could mean not getting the first overall pick. Without question, we are going to get a very high pick. Yes, I hate them that much.

can't root for the Skins...their fans are way to ********....they have way to many threads on their boards about how badly Romo sucks..even though he has the 3rd best start of any QB in NFL history...their envy knows no limits

Can't you put this whole subject in small letters. Also don't use the word root cause it implies we somehow like them. I'd prefer the term "accept" the Skins win over the Eagles. That implies I'm a neutral observer whose interested in outcome of game but rooting............ knashing of teeth, sick in pit of stomach..... So I will await the outcome of the game & accept a Skins win as something which had to happen given Eagles loss to an inferior Packer team.

I usually root for the home team to take care of their business unless it has a direct impact on the Cowboys playoff chances. Having said that, it may be better if Philly goes down while McNabb is still a little rusty. If he gets rolling later this season, then the Eagles will become a difficult team to beat. Having said that part Deux, I don't think the Skins will beat the Eagles, even with a less than 100% McNabb.

As long as Dallas wins against Miami we are in a no lose situation regarding Philly and Wash.

It doesn't matter who wins as long as we sweep both teams this year. :D
