Coming from the guy who listed Boston College (a RANKED team) as a pushover for Notre Dame who is 0-2... you have a lot of credibility :laugh2:

They schedule the academies because they basically have to.

Purdue is consistently middle of the pack in the Big 10 along with Michigan State, and they scheduled Michigan, who is always at the top of the conference... until this year.

They schedule Stanford, who might be the worst team in the Pac 10, but at the same time, they have probably the two best teams in that conference in their schedule.

All this BS about schedules is so moronic. If it weren't for the BCS it would be a non-issue. but hey, any reason to hate the Catholics

Who's your team? I bet they have plenty of "easy wins" on the schedule. Every conference has their good teams and bad, so ANYONE in a conference has "easy wins." Do you hate on Va Tech? Because they have Duke on their schedule too.

I say this, and I don't even know if there's such a thing as a "easy win" anymore. Appy State just beat Michigan for cryin out loud.

So you don't tell us who your team is because you admit that they have pushovers on their schedule too?

Hmmmm, let's see. Georgia tech and Penn State have beat ND so far this season. Guess those teams are "your teams."

Ga Tech also has Duke on their schedule, as well as highly touted Samford, Army (an academy ), and other ACC powerhouses such as Maryland and North Carolina.

Penn St. has Florida International, Buffalo, and Temple, along with Big 10 "dregs" Indiana, Illinois, and another team you were ripping, Purdue.

Every team you look at is going to have those types of games.

So back to the topic at hand...

Weis is a fraud. 12 quarters without an offensive touchdown. That is simply amazing considering a team like the Citadel rang up 31 on Wisconsin.

One of my best friends got his law degree at Notre Dame and brought up this question of whether weis was a play stealer.

My friend is a fanatic booster. I have been relatively shocked by his attitude with regards to ND's 0-2 (now 0-3) start. But he told me that he was bracing for a very ugly season this year. He then shocked me by saying he was expecting a 4 win season!!!!

I couldn't believe I was listening to a ND hardcore.

He told me very firmly that Weis would not be fired this year, because the aluni have braced for a true rebuilding season. But... in Jimmy Clausen's JR. season if ND is not at least a top 6 team at season's end that Weis would be gone.

It seems unbeleiveable to me that they would wait so long, but hey---look at Nebraska's 10 year plan. I am not doubting him.

I just can't wait for this season to be over and Notre Dame has to deal with the Ty Willingham/Charlie Weis comparisons especially with this in the backround, cause there is no way that the assistants had no knowledge of this.

Notre Dame deserves the attention they'll be getting soon.

I understand what you are saying, but you need to remember... this isn't Weis vs. Willingham. This is Notre Dame vs. Willingham. I happen to be one that thought Willingham should have stayed, but those that have issues with the way they handled that situation, shouldn't transfer their anger towards Weis. He just took a job offered to him as all of you would have.

Yeah that's what I was sayin... The Bengals sig didn't work out, but the Steelers whipped em without a sig.

If the raiders lose to the browns, I'm gonna have to impose a moratorium on sigs of the browns opponents.
