Lol. This really sucks for you domers doesn't it? You can't bash New England without calling your precious Weis a cheater too. :lmao: :lmao2:
My apologies domers, I heard it wasn't illegal during the Weis years. I should have found that out before I popped off.

Only the ignorant and the true morons could not see that Willingham just did not have what it took to coach ND. He did not get the special atmosphere, or all that went with it. His recruiting steadily declined. And he had a weak staff and would not change it. Now maybe he has learned - but lets see how this season at Washington ends. He has virtually never had a strong ending to a season. Weis gets it- and his recruiting is steadily getting better. He has gotten himself a real good DC which was a weakness up till this year. He looks like he needs to replace his O line coach- but with the young guys they have right now maybe that is not his fault. Pretty much everyone knew this year was going to be tough- Willinghams last two classes- the last of which was Weis's first since he had no time to recruit that year- are what are supposed to be the srs and jrs this year. Not much there.

Wasn't ND pressured into hiring Willingham by Jessie Jackson? I thought that was a stupid hire from the beginning.

Wonder what happens when he looks for his next job? He's a snitch, I'm sure that's going over real well with his players.
His players probably love him for it. Pointing out the cheating of your rival, and they get punished??

Would you like it if it were us ratting out the Skins, and them losing their first round draft pick (again)?

Mangini probably has a good enough reputation in league circles to get another job, even if he does take a hit from this -- which I doubt it's going to be that significant.

Yeah, his players love their coach being a snitch, being that a snitch is so accepted with NFL players.:lmao2:

No, I'd rather beat someone on the field then cry to daddy that they are cheating, but that's just me.

I heard Keyshawn calling him a snitch on his and Parcells show tonight. Parcells says if you let someone steal your signals it's your own fault. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for being a tattletale.

Wow-now it's no susprise that NONE of BB's assistants are having the least bit of success as HC's elsewhere. Look at Tony Dungy-he's only won one SB(and throw in having somewhat of an underachieving coaching career), but even HIS assitants(Lovie, Thomlin, Marinelli, etc) are having alot of success as HCs.

This mafioso attitude towards "snitches" is so ridiculous. Instead of placing the blame where it should lie... with the person WHO BROKE THE RULES!!... you place it on the person who pointed out said rule-breaking. Brilliant.

You ever complain about a non-call on a hold or anything? Ever see a coach complain about it to a ref? Do you think a rape victim should keep the fact that she was raped to herself? How about someone who has been abused in other ways?

Or are they "snitches" when they report something to the authorities? You sound like CCF re: the Vick co-defendants.

This attitude is actually slowly going away as people become more educated. One of these days, maybe you will catch up with the rest of us.

I'm not even a "domer" per se. I enjoy college football in general. I like what is good for the sport, and find teams from all conferences and divisions that I can enjoy following.

I just happen to find this thread, and the multitude of similarly immature ND bashing threads that are started out of spite, to be redundant and sophomoric...much like the behavior of the posters on ES.

I also find it ironic that so many Cowboys fans find such distain for a team that so closely resembles our own. They're both either loved or hated. They're both pretty much the most watched team respectively. They're both historically very successful, but as of late have had little success.

....and despite what you and the canuck make up in your heads, that Irish tend to have a much harder schedule than any of these big conference teams. Having the academies is the "easy" part, but it isn't usually scheduled for that reason. Perhaps you should look up the TV ratings for those games. You might be impressed. BTW, Navy is no pushover, as the canuck would have you believe.

Come on, go back to telling me how ND has a tough schedule, I need another laugh.

Ok, although I'm not expecting your fourth grade intellect to comprehend this...

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/06/19/schedules.top25/2.html

I took me two miinutes to find two web sites that have Notre Dame's schedule ranked in the top 13 toughest in the nation.

Let me know if you need help reading this. It might be easier without the blinders on.

I thought I just did.

Georgia Tech, Penn State, Michigan, Purdue, Michigan State, UCLA, Boston College, USC?

I'll give you Air force and Duke. Navy's is no pushover. Neither is Purdue. Boston College is a damn fine team...you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Are you kidding me?

In a time when teams schedule non conference opponents that assure them of wins, ND schedules four or five that are damn near guaranteed losses. They don't doge ****. Apparently, most college experts agree with me. Give me an example otherwise smart***.

You're the prime example of what I was talking about earlier.

Please, take your head out of the Notre Dame ****** and wake up to the real world where everyone and their dog knows that ND pad their schedule like none other. 2 service academies, one of the worst teams in the nation, one of the bottom feeders of the big ten and the worst team in the pac-10! Its an insta-bowl bid that they schedule yearly.

I'm still waiting on ANYTHING other than YOUR opinion...which means jack ****.

Coming from the guy who listed Boston College (a RANKED team) as a pushover for Notre Dame who is 0-2... you have a lot of credibility :laugh2:

They schedule the academies because they basically have to.

Purdue is consistently middle of the pack in the Big 10 along with Michigan State, and they scheduled Michigan, who is always at the top of the conference... until this year.

They schedule Stanford, who might be the worst team in the Pac 10, but at the same time, they have probably the two best teams in that conference in their schedule.

All this BS about schedules is so moronic. If it weren't for the BCS it would be a non-issue. but hey, any reason to hate the Catholics

Who's your team? I bet they have plenty of "easy wins" on the schedule. Every conference has their good teams and bad, so ANYONE in a conference has "easy wins." Do you hate on Va Tech? Because they have Duke on their schedule too.

I say this, and I don't even know if there's such a thing as a "easy win" anymore. Appy State just beat Michigan for cryin out loud.
