So do we have any centers available to play tonight?

To avoid overshooting Romo, we could just have Chris Jones punt it to him and just use the center on 4th down for good hang time

The only way another team trades them their #2 for cheap is if they drafted a young guy that beat that guy out anyway.

That doesn't mean that the #2 that they cut is worse that our #2 or starter, for that matter. There are also cap implications to consider. A guy's cap number may not be worth it to his current team but reasonable for us (considering our situation).

What did the Patriots pony up for Randy Moss? How about the Packers for Woodson. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting that type of player for that type of draft pick, but if we were able to gain some stability at the position for next year's 7th, you jump on it.

Our OL is a mess, with the only saving graces being Callahan and Smith; everyone else is an unknown. It would be stupid not to solidify the center spot by the start of the season.

Some pretty good talent will be cut later...we'll see what we have on D and if we can shed someone like Spears or Coleman...then we will sign a more talented guy at OL. Hopefully a center is avail.

From afar here in Florida, admit to being very concerned, as are many people about our center situation. Does anybody have a clue which OL players can start at center for us tonight? Also sure would like to know why we didn't sign the C who supposed on route to Oxnard; is it because he not in condition, price too high or he no better then what we already have? But then again, who plays center tonight?

Will be real upset/sick if Romo gets hurt tonight because of screwed up center/OL mess.

We have as many centers as we do starting caliber WR's! :)
