I think that it is apparent that that is/was the case. Even for those that still like Henson, I think that they realize that as well.

I don't think this is true at all. Both BP and JJ went to Henson's workout for the scouts, both were impressed with his workout, and both of them recruited him to the 'Boys. Henson actually chose the 'Boys because BP was the head coach.

However, it was apparent to BP that Henson just could not get it. He couldn't process information as quickly as it needed to be processed, and there probably was a personality clash as well. Will Henson turn it around? Maybe, but the track record for those BP has let go is not very good.

...then again maybe you're just stupid... "Hasn't proven anything to me"????? Well, he's proven he can lead a comeback victory on the road over one of the NFC Championship favorites in only his first NFL start, for what thats worth...:bang2:

the two-point pass to TO wasn't picked off because it was a perfect read. Once the LB came up and the S wasn't there, it was where the ball was going. Esp with that lightning release. Easy pickens.
If the LB would've dropped or a S would've been there, I'm pretty sure Romo wouldn't have thrown it there, he'd looked there and gone somewhere else.
Sometimes it looks like luck to us at home but oftentimes, its skill on the field.

Personally I'm just enjoying the irony of bbgun shooting down a negative troll.

So far TR's proven to me he isn't freaking Drew Bledsoe. And for now, that's enough.

Because it means he can rid of the ball in less time than it takes to paint the Mona Lisa, can check down without turning to a pillar of salt, can rifle a slant or out before defenders close in, can move inside and outside the pocket without appearing to be a walking advertisement for arthritis, and can scan the field without looking like he's wearing horse blinders.

All Tony needs to do to win my absolute worship is to develop a deep ball game that stars my boy TG. Then he's gold. :) But even if he doesn't, winning and keeping Bill around will be more than enough.

Hes shown soom things to me like his Quick release. Commanders now have tape on Romo. ROmo was lucky on the pass to To in the endzone that it wasnt picked off. If he does well in the Commanders game then I will belleive in him.

-3-CAR3(12:19) T.Romo pass incomplete short left to T.Owens (R.Marshall).2-3-CAR3(12:16) T.Romo pass short left to J.Witten for 3 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

He hasn't proven anything to me either other than he talks a big game, but delivers a mediorce one.

He's way too overconfident for a guy that has started ONE career game in this league....I really don't care for his wisecracks either, just keep your mouth shut and prove yourself on the field!

:laugh2: This is absurd. Romo doesn't come across "over-confident"...can you give an example or two of this 'over-confidence"? (kind of an oxymoron anyway, isn't it?)

And what 'wisecracks' are you referring to?

They had tape on him before the game too. On the TO pass he threw it where it needed to be.

Wow a young QB with his 1st start in the NFL made a bad throw and what was Deadslows excuse for throwing about 10 of those to Romo's 1:violin:

Yeah well you haven't shown me anything yet so I guess this thread is useless. It had promise but you missed wide right

Come on no one is expecting anyone to be writing his HOF induction speech, it just is an improvement over what we have had here the last 6-8 years and there is a glimmer of hope.

are you sure? 'cuz it seems like ALL the gametape in the Commanders possession woulda already been forwarded to the league offices as part of Gibbs season-long b****-fest over officiating.

by the way... how's that working out? errr... ummm... let's see... what? still 2-5!!

looks like y'all need more tape.

actually if you watched the game, you would see that Romo put the ball in only a position where Jason Witten would have caught it

At that will matter is if we win games with Romo at the helm. Big Ben's stats were anything but impressive when they won the SB, but he knew how to win. Same can be said for Trent Dilfer (to a lesser extent) when the Raven won the SB in 1997 (I think it was that year).
