I am so happy that Dak played so well, even though we lost, we don't have to worry about the Dak vs Romo conversation. We can focus on the future without that distraction. Thanks to Tony, appreciate what he did for the Cowboys, unfortunately, that the nature of the game. Good luck to him, hope he retires a Cowboy, but more importantly good luck to the Cowboys. Dang, this sucks.

Thanks for everything Tony.
Gave us a lot of exciting years.

Gave us some daggers through the heart.
Some his fault.
Some his team mates fault.

I really wanted a super bowl for him.
He didn't get it done when he had his chances. I regret.

Dak did great. Yeah that one INT sucks that happened on the screen play but I thought it was more of a fantastic play by the defender than anything. He sniffed it out. Dak put us in position to win (hell he helped us get back into the game) and our defense let us down.

Agreed. This should help make the offseason decision much easier for Jerry.

Beware, the Ghost of Romo is real (my best evil laugh).

Good luck with that. There were people in the chat saying Romo would have won the game.

History suggests Romo would've tried to force something in the 4th quarter and iced the game before the last play. I like Tony, and wish he'd have had more support during his run, but Dak is not the reason Dallas lost yesterday.

I blame Garret for that bs call.

Romo has the highest 4th quarter qb rating in the history of the National Football League. And up until his injury issues began in 2015 he had the most comeback wins among active quarterbacks.

But please tell us more about what YOUR (faulty) "history suggests."

As it was happpening I said, I said, "no, no, why? It's..... " boom.... intercepted!
That's a call you might break out of the defenders are cheating back not a play you call when the defender is literally standing on the line of scrimmage.

I wouldn't count on that. There is nobody in the league that knows this team as well as Romo. He will come to play.

One thing about Romo for me is that there were times when I was really down on him and wanted him gone and there were times when I didn't want any other QB playing for the Cowboys........and that could have been in just one series within a game.

When it's all said and done though, I think he's been one of the best QB's to wear the Star but his time here was wasted on the owner not putting a decent team around him until it was too late.

In elimination games, he is correct. Great example is that debacle of a game against the Skins in 2012.

Like there was never much doubt about Romo over Bledsoe - it's the same with Dak now.

And someday, it'll be somebody else over Dak - hopefully we can snag a few Championships along the way.
