for those of you who have a good eye for those sort of things. Can't recall any big mistakes.

He did ok our o line problems where mostly on the left side and the interior

he did pretty decent, on pass protection he was pretty good, but in run blocking he still has some ways to go,

free still needs to get alittle stronger while keeping his speed;

free is alittle more of a left offensive tackle then a ROT,but he didnt do badly

in 3 weeks you will get a good judge on free, when we play the giants

remember kampman their star defensive end wasnt playing today

im sure that the cowboys will look at a OT in the next few days

they may even bring back paul mcquistan for another look and sign him

it's hard to judge his run blocking when we don't run

i agree with that, but we did run on doug free's side some, and didnt get very many good rushing yards;

I think that had more to do with the type of plays we tried to run, one of them (there was only like 3) was a slow developing sweep which multiple players had plenty of time to screw up, not just him

from the couple of plays i saw on running plays, doug free got stalemated
now doug free is really good on pulls, etc, getting out to the 2nd line defense, he is real quick, but he needs more functional strength;

he isnt real powerful in the lower base area, has to get allittle stronger there

now to me what you do is this, after this yr is over,, you see if he gets any hungier after some experience this year, and if he hits the weight room harder and heavier, etc in the offseason leading up to the draft;

if he doesnt then u sure draft another OT in the top first round

one of our problems on offensive line has been, we havent drafted an OT in the first round since howard richards best i remember

we need a young stud on the offensive line for sure;

sometimes players after they get tried and tested, realize that they have to get bigger, stroner and nastier on the offensive line like erik williams did his first year in the nfl,

Kosier

His first play was surely not a thing of beauty. Defender blew right past him, but Romo got it away to Barber.

That was a designed screen.

Kosier was good from day one. People just don't want to have been completely wrong about all the bellyaching they did when he was signed.

Free did better than Gurode, who had an awful game.

I have to think that knee is less well than we thought. He was so slow out there.

I think beyond his obvious skillset and experience the attitude and companionship aspect Marc brought to the team will be missed on the line. Hopefully he doesn't lose that while on the sidelines.

He was far better pass blocking than run blocking, the few runs they did try to run right were all pretty much blown up.

The whole OL was pathetic yesterday, one of the worst performances I've ever seen.

He used to get pushed back into Romo's face all the time. Over the years he has increased his strength, however. That was the point I was making.
