So how did Free do?

He really did. Didn't we move him to guard in the first place because he is dumb? Is he is the reason why we can't pickup blitzers properly?

Gurode's been playing great all year. He missed half the week because of an injury. He's not dumb he's just not 100%.

If you watch Romo's press conference, you could tell he was visibly frustrated when he kept referring to mistakes, both mental and physical. I know exactly who he was talking about, but I think he did a great job biting his tongue, in spite of the frustration. Hopefully Adams, Gurode, and Roy take notice and step it up.

Yea I think he did fine, maybe with a week of reps he will get better.

If you remember in the late 90's up until 2002, the team couldn't pick up the blitz either.

The common denominator? Hudson Houck.

well the only good news here is that we will finally find out if Free can be a starter or not.

Agreed. Funny how the same center was there against the egals, falcons, bucs when they were picking up the blitz and what not. And nothing about the guy being dumb. LOL..

Green Bay and Capers brought some stuff that I think the Cowboys just weren't ready for. Or weren't looking.

I will take the ladder. I am also glad that Gurode is the Center. I hope the whole line bounces back next game, which they will. Being without Columbo is a huge, huge blow though, no doubt it.

Um we have been having trouble with blitzers all year...

That really is the bottom line, hit or miss.

It will determine if the 1st round draft pick come next April is an OT or not.

It's a hell of a thing to see Columbo go down but in the long run we really had to find out about Free before the draft.

I think we were going O-line very high this year. But knowing how high is going to be huge this April.

It was a screen they are suppose to allow the defenders to come in on the play.

Not so fast you almost get your QB sacked. A sack on a screen play?

almost? The object is to allow the defense in to the QB then get out on the blocks down field. He did just that.
