Aren't you excited every year?

I am not sure what the point of this thread because I am sure you are excited every year for Cowboys football

Why the nitpicking? The OP, an obvious Cowboy fan, is fired up about the upcoming season. This forum is the ideal platform to display that optimisim. Give him a break.

I'm still concerned about the red zone offense. We're kicking a lot of field goals in practice. We need more touchdowns.

With the 2 TE set and hopefully a better running game, we should be more efficient TD wise this year.

He should NOT even be fired up about the upcoming season because Jason Garrett is still the damn coach

He is getting his hopes up for nothing IF they miss the playoffs again

You're kinda contradicting yourself here. There's the glass half full types and the glass half empty types. It's a much more enjoyable life if you're the former.

Was thinking the same thing early on however I'm reserved to hoping that the defensive improvement is a large part of that. I really could care less about how well the offense is running this early in training camp since offenses have a way of improving much easier than defenses IMO. If the defense can develop a swagger early on and grow with it, the team as a whole will be in every game this year. I think the offense has a number of weapons and will eventually flourish but I don't need to see them with any sort of production until at least our 3rd pre-season game. If they (offense) is being penalized for illegal procedure, holding and looking clueless (like much of last year) by the first game, Romo will be in for another long season.
