Simple. We didn't do the same thing for four quarters which we did twice with the Giants during the regular season. New York didn't as much beat us as we beat ourselves.

How did we tally 3 points against a Giant secondary that was in total disarray? This will be a tough day to get through.
 
All of a sudden, Eli has more playoff victories in his career than Wade and Tony combined. Seems ... impossible.
 
Yes, but the Giants with Eli as their QB will never win the SB. With Tony and 2-3 more pieces we are in the money and will win the SB very soon.

that pretty much sums it up for me. I have a hard time coming to grips that the better team lost.

The hardest part about all of this now is I am not sure that with the same team, we can be motivated by it for next season. I think a lot of fans on this board will have more motivation to play football with a chip on his/her shoulder than a lot of the current players. I keep thinking "oh cool, what a motivator to tear it up next year!" then realize this is the current team's problem.
