Who still thinks we need 18 games?

Who really wants to see all these bad teams, like the Cowboys, play 2 more weeks?

To be honest, I wasn't really sure about the whole 18 game idea. I then saw you post this in another thread and I was like yeah, 2 more games is absolutely silly. Just end the season already...16 games it is for me

Add 2 games and another bye week and the season last that much longer.

Where 3 1/2 months from the draft and 8 months from the next meaningful game

So, basically you don't want any football then? That way you wouldn't "have" to see any bad teams play, ever.

18 games - another bad decision by a league that has everything, but wants to fiddle it into the ground.

Ah the boys wont always suck, these extra two weeks of kicking some butt will be a pleasure to watch in a year or three.

It only hurts when you suck, when you win, the seasons never long enough.

I don't want the season to last another day much less 3 more weeks.

No it wouldn't.

It would be better to be in the playoffs than still playing to get in.

Delaying the playoffs is a terrible idea.

An 18 game regular season is something I have been against from the beginning.

Today being the last week of the season is merely a coincidence.

I do. I want 18 games, bigger roster, bigger game day roster, and less pre-season. With 18 games this team would have still had a small chance to make playoffs after firing Wade.

IF you are out of the playoff picture you can develop your younger players.

It is win win. Better TV revenue in most cases, and more players on rosters = longer and better careers for many of the mid-range players.

The big worry is wear and tear and injuries to the stars as they will get a bunch more reps, BUT a good team will manage this.

Absolutely. Sign me up for 2 more games and a shorter pre-season. These guys come in in shape these days pretty much. It is the mental part of the game that requires training, but adjustments can be made to make this work and improve the overall product and entertainment value.

With 2 extra games, maybe you get to see a live regular season game against another great team with it's starters playing that you wouldn't normally.

I like it.

Pretty obvious.

Colombo, Davis, Igor, Barber, Roy, Brooking out. Mankins, Clabo, Garrett, Peterson, Carimi, Moffit in

1. You don't have to watch.
2. That kind of talk is year round, not sure what you're waiting for.
