So James Hanna is 3rd string now?

I really was looking forward to seeing Hanna on the field a lot more next season.

I would assume so. I don't think you draft a TE in the second round to not have him out there.

They must have not been happy with Hanna's progress.

Hanna was a 6th round pick that theyre developing. He hasnt shown enough to secure the 2nd te spot. Maybe hell improve, maybe he wont, but if youre going bpa hes not the type of player that will prevent you from making that pick.

i don't think it's fair to say Hanna hasn't shown enough yet, he's made the most out of every opportunity he's been given. Kinda hard to amass a lot of catches when your QB is constantly running for his life or on his back

I wonder if they plan to use Hanna more like a WR. He has the speed and quicks to play out there and he creates huge mismatch issues because of his size/speed ratio makes it hard to matchup.

Another possibility is that we may use all 3 a bunch with Dez at WR and Murray in the backfield. We can flex a lot of different looks and if defenses don't go big they run the risk of getting trampled. But if they go big we can flex 2 of them out in the slot and force LBs into coverage.
