From 50,000 watts of pure-dee Dallas Cowboy devotion, Air Cowboys America is on the air from Farmers Branch, where our property values are down but our spirits are high!
Yes, men and girls, Jerra promised a "wow" player.
I jus didn't know it would be Pacman.
You see, ah was believing that my bro, Jerra, the most enthusiastic owner in the history of the NFL save Al Davis, would rope and bring in a "wow" player for the offense.
And, yes, expectations have mostly been for a WR. But nay, none in the WR category. Not yet, anyway, and it is relatively late in the offseason.
So, my question to this August assemblage of knowing personable personages, is this:
Were their no real viable WR candidates out there this offseason? Even ones under contract whose owners might deal?
Or, did Jerra save his powder for something else and really has faith in the young'uns?
I think it be the latter. In Sam Hurd http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sharedcontent/dws/spt/misc/wallpaper/img/cowboys/1223shurd130.jpghe sees an honest to goodness possession player who will challenge Crayton. Then there is the slow but sure emergence of Miles Austin.http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sharedcontent/dws/spt/misc/wallpaper/img/cowboys/1130maustin130.jpg
Jerra, thus, has gambled big time on NOT getting a replacement for gimpy and old Terry Glenn.
Instead, he's going with T.O., Witten and a grinding ground game. And some lean and hungry young receivers.
Jerra, a good nonmove if ever I saw one.
