Let's see from what I read. Jerry was worth about $180M in 1989 and spent $140M on buying the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are now worth $6.5B and Jerrys overall worth is $10.2B-$11.6B depending on who you are reading.

So the Cowboys are 46 times more valuable in 33 years. Very good ROI.

Jerry has multiplied his overall money 61 times in value over the same years.

He is now like the 56th richest person in America, and the mass majority of the money has come from the Cowboys.

I think he borrowed the $ to buy the cowboys.

he wont sell unless forced to by nfl or possibly his wife.
It is his toy and he loves playing with it.

As for a new owner, many billionaires are just as goofy, or shady, creepy, stupid, as jerry , just look at snyder and some of the other current owners.
So no guarantee we get a good one, but good chance we might, or that they hire a good GM.

I would be ecstatic if Musk bought the team. I would become one of the biggest pom pom wavers in the Cowboys Zone.

If Bezos bought the team I would probably become nothing more than a lurker.
