Everybody on here is crying and whining about stuff that is just stupid.

I keep thinking you guys must be blind, but it must be that you have NO clue what you are watching when you look at a football game.

There is one reason we lost today--turnovers.

That mostly boils down to Brad Johnson. He throws a pick, we give up a TD. When we had at least a FG

Our D gets a huge turnover, TO fumbles. Another at least FG for us.

Then, BJ throws another awful pick. We give up another TD.

If you subtract the turnovers, Dallas is very likely up 13-7 at half, getting the ball.

Then Brooks throws a bad pick, and its game over. Can't blame anybody for giving up at that point.

The D played Hard and Well. They were on the field for 40+ minutes! Nobody can play that long and not get worn down. They forced three turnovers and had some key sacks. If the offense gave them anything and stopped giving the other team points, this is a game.

It all boils down to the QB. BJ is so bad, he gave them 14 points. Our D scored 7. I say at the end of the half, they played a tied game 7-7 and shoulda given us at last three more. Plus, they got the turnover that gave us our second half 7. So the D generated almost 17 points today, despite playing 40+ minutes.

Stop questioning the heart and the effort. The D came to play. So did the special teams. We are just so handicapped with BJ. And everybody on offense knows it. The coaching staff was idiotic for not starting Bollinger if not for one reason--HOPE! The players know we can't win that game with Brad, but Brooks is unknown so he gives us that hope factor. If he starts, and doesn't throw a bunch of stupid and just awful inaccurate picks like BJ did, we had a shot.

My only quibble is on the Owens fumble. If we got a FG or TD then, we get no Jenkins TD so they offset.

Very true. The Owens fumble still essentially led to a TD cause of the Jenkins pick six. So his fumble didn't cost us any points in that regard.

Same story every week.

Take out all the bad plays by Dallas, add in some bad plays for the other team and a few good plays for the Cowboys and we would have won.

Maybe, but that play could easily have happened after a kickoff (same end of field and all)

Turnovers.

And the 200 rushing yards surrendered by the defense.

And the poor red zone defense.

And a generally poor offensive effort.

And ownership that failed to see the lack of a viable backup QB.

Good post.

Yep, it was a good post.

People who think that a defense should be able to overcome their offense turning the ball over multiple times in their own territory... I don't know what to say about them.

Here's the list of idiotic blame game for today:

No testosterone post
Soft post
No heart post
We won't make playoffs post
Wish we were 4-3 post
Blaming Jenkins (who played well) for not tackling when the game was over
Wanting Pac back post
Players overrate post

Everyone just cry yourself to sleep tonight and then go do some research on football tomorrow so you might have a clue next time you watch a game

Good post.

couldnt agree more and what really kills me is that some people act like they didnt see this coming.

without romo, felix, tnew pac, and kosier and mcbriar and heck even roy and a banged up witten flozell henry and the list goes on, you cant win in this league.

the bye week is very much needed and with the troops coming back next week i expect us to run the table with pittsburgh being th only team maybe beating us Commanders and giants are definately revenge games we will win.

and baltimore, san fran, seattle, philly and i think chicago im really not worried about.

unless philly needs a win to get in.

but yeah the defense had a pretty good game outside of those long garbage time runs by jacobs and ward

Turnovers is due to the QB, and so is the poor offensive effort.

So, you added nothing--it was all bad QB ='s turnovers.

The 200 yards came much later in the game, mostly in the 4th. After the first 3 quarters, we had given up barely more than 200 yards despite them having the ball for 3/4 of the time

The D came to play? Oh, so that would explain the Giants' long, time-consuming TD drive to start the game. Or did BJ tire them out in the pre-game locker room?

Most of the rushing yards came after the game was well in hand.

All these people that hate things now, and think we're soft, stupid, heartless, whatever will be on the bandwagon and claiming how they never lost faith when we do just fine down the stretch and go into the playoffs hot.

Which, if I remember correctly, most people before the season said they'd rather struggle early and get hot and win down the stretch, when it matters most, than start hot and do nothing in December and January.

Well, folks, it's coming. You're going to see this team do what you've been waiting on them to do for 3 years now. We're going to be strong, and hot, down the stretch and we're going to make the playoffs.

Have faith.

Good post, but there is no mention of offensive line play. Sure, Johnson and Bollinger threw picks, but even the best quarterbacks through interceptions if they don't feel comfortable in the pocket.

Sheli gifted us 3 turnovers of his own--which really was the only thing that heading into this game could have given us a chance--and we still got blown out. Pretty pathetic......

There's a lot more room on this bandwagon this week.

When is it ever acceptable to surrender 200 yards rushing in a game, or to allow an opponent so much success in the red zone?

Most certainly, the game would've been much closer if Romo had played, but Romo doesn't play defense.
