This is an obvious question. Does the drafting of all these CBS plus Brown's emergence mean it's the end for Scandrick? It sure smells like it, along with the rumors yesterday.

Probably his last season here unless he has a major bounce back year...

i think it creates a situation where we wont need him in 2018. If the rookies turn out good, then we let him go. if the rookies suck, then we still have him as a resource. 2017 is a put up or shut up year for him. show your worth or be replaced

Yup, it's gotta be. I knew he was never gonna be the same after his knee injury in 2015...that + him getting older

I don't think anything happens until preseason, if at all.

He will be here next year, but like someone else said, this was a strong message to him, you better bring it or your gone.

Maybe we can get that 5th round pick next year back for him.....I'm hoping he sticks around, for this year anyway.

Nope competition is back on the defensive side of the ball....

No longer can we have guys on our defense just show up to Training camp and go through the motions knowing theyll be starting game 1 no matter what they do

Your can argue that this will be his last season here. But why on earth would they get rid of him this season?

We need that vet presence. He will bounce back this year. Another year removed from his ACL/MCL tear

Of course it's not the end for Scandrick. No one wants to see 3 rookies out there, and Scandrick is still better than Carroll or Brown, based on last year. White, Carroll, and Brown would all have to play better for him to be cut.
