So many CB's - end of the line for Scandrick?

I get the sense that there's this animosity toward Scandrick, and I'm not sure why there would be.

I actually will be a bit sad when he leaves.


At any rate. I wouldn't put a nail in his coffin yet. I think ideally you get as much young talent at these premium positions as possible and hope you never have a lapse in coverage.

And I think that's what this is. Scandrick is 30 with a recent devastating injury. He may have some left in the tank, but you can't bank on that as an FO.

Of course it's not the end for Scandrick. No one wants to see 3 rookies out there, and Scandrick is still better than Carroll or Brown, based on last year. White, Carroll, and Brown would all have to play better for him to be cut.

Agree with the overall point. That's kind of what got Carolina in trouble last year.

But Brown was better than Scan last year. And I have hope that Brown wil improve.

You could tell injuries caught up to him last year. But in 2013/14 before the ACL/MCL tears he became pretty reliable. Hopefully he can bounce back this year. I like OScan and think he could be a great vet presence on this young defense.

Anthony Brown, Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, and Marquez White.....if Brown keeps developing and the rooks are a hit, the Cowboys will be set at corner for a long, long time. In this case I can see both O-Scan and Nolan Carroll gone next year.

And if Xavier Woods and Kavon Frazier are the real deal at safety, Dallas can even move Byron Jones back to corner.

He's still the best CB on our team until proven otherwise. Brown had a good rookie year but has to show he can do it consistently. And none of the other guys have played a snap in the NFL.

He will definitely need a strong showing come TC time.

Think we'll like to keep him due to him being a vet and fluid between man and zone coverages.
But now nothing is secure now for him
