I think he can turn it around. He moved to RG last season and stunk. He was solid at LG. He won’t break the bank either and loves Dallas.

Defense played well after the early game gitters. Like I said before the defense has two elite players in Parsons and Diggs. We need to build around those guys and the defense will be fine. A dominant 1 tech should be drafted in the 1st two rounds. Davis has to be in consideration for our first pick. Possibly a trade back to get a third rounder. They struggled early, but gave the offense plenty of chances, giving up just 23 points.
Don’t think they have to use a 1st rd pick to fill the NT need, But have to pull the trigger before day 3Defense played well after the early game gitters. He was real bad in the left side as well, Connor is by far the better player, especially in the run game despite Hernandez sizeI think he can turn it around. He moved to RG last season and stunk. He was solid at LG. He won’t break the bank either and loves Dallas.
3rd best? Are you aware of what these odds are based on? I'll tell you!!!!Dallas has +1400 odds to make the Super Bowl. That's tied for 3rd best behind (Chiefs/Bills +750, Rams +1000). Now you know, I know, the world knows this team has little chance to make it there.
But to think they will rebuild/blow it up/start over isn't happening. We have a better chance of a Cowboyszone member being drafted than Jerry blowing this team up. He's about 100 and he doesn't know how much time he has left so we know he isn't going to rebuild or waste a year.
Depends. If that NT is a playmaking disruptive force, we do have to get him early. If he's just a plug.......well we already have that.Don’t think they have to use a 1st rd pick to fill the NT need, But have to pull the trigger before day 3
That is true also.7 points through 3 quarters is why they lost. Run defense had their struggles, especially early on, but the offense kept them on the field too long.
Davis will not be there on day 2. He will walk in and be a top run stopper. The other guys I am not sure about. Jones and the Alabama tackle are probably a better pass rusher but Davis will free up our linebackers and pass rushers because you have to double team him.Don’t think they have to use a 1st rd pick to fill the NT need, But have to pull the trigger before day 3
Ridgeway is very good too and he could be in that 3rd to 4th rd rangeDavis will not be there on day 2. He will walk in and be a top run stopper. The other guys I am not sure about. Yes, but the defense played well throughout the entire season, where the offense was a shell of their former selves in the 2nd halfThat is true also.
Now expand your thinking. It was both. 169 yds rushing. Think about that.
Player like Davis offers zero nickel impact. We need a NT who can be more of a three down player. Think Mathis or Jones are better fitsDepends. If that NT is a playmaking disruptive force, we do have to get him early. If he's just a plug.......well we already have that.
I think we need to bring a veteran 1 tech and pair with the pick.Ridgeway is very good too and he could be in that 3rd to 4th rd range
That would be ideal, but they have so many needs this yr and I don't think they will be able to address them all.I think we need to bring a veteran 1 tech and pair with the pick.

The O sucked after the first 6 games. D was not great. They really didn't play well, except in spots.Yes, but the defense played well throughout the entire season, where the offense was a shell of their former selves in the 2nd half
Haven't started my draft reading yet, so don't know much about him. Does he collapse the pocket? Make plays in the running game? A NT who has athleticism is a 3 down player. That type NT helps in the nickel by collapsing the pocket and having a large tackle radius due to athleticism and lateral agility.Player like Davis offers zero nickel impact. And the D did not play well enough to win playoff games.Yes, but the defense played well throughout the entire season, where the offense was a shell of their former selves in the 2nd half
I listened to Plug and Play podcast. Dane Bruglar seemed to like the idea of Daxten Hill to the Cowboys. Bruglar seemed to like the depth of the guards/interior offensive linemen in the later rounds. The question is, what are the Cowboys going to do?That would be ideal, but they have so many needs this yr and I don't think they will be able to address them all.
I really like Hill as well, think he could be a chess piece like Parsons but in the secondary. However, interior lineman aside, a lot will depend on if Cooper/DLaw or Gregory are gone. If that is the case, those needs rise to the top and even could be best available at the time of our pick.I listened to Plug and Play podcast.
