Absolutely! I hated the Eric Williams head slap.....I used the 2 hand shiver to the facemask of larger offensive blockers all the time in HS....lol. Godell’s own investigator went back to NY and told him there was nothing and recommended that entire thing be dropped .. As we all know, Roger didn’t like that and levied the suspension. Why people don’t think Roger will do whatever he can to hurt JJ is beyond me.

There are backroom politics that we are not privy too.

I think the Dez no-catch ruling and Megatron's no-TD-catch against the Bears (I think) were the two most controversial plays that had an impact on that rule being changed.

I'd add the Bert Emanuel catch from the 1999 NFC championship game between the Bucs and the Rams.

No, that rule happened when Murray was playing and spearing people. They were getting fined for it. He was destroying people and the main one doing it
