Where do we stand in the division going forward? I think it's pretty safe to say Washington has their star QB and will be a factor in coming years. To what extent? We'll see. But their QB makes them at least a .500 team going forward. NYG while currently struggling is still a good team IMO and is in position to remain a contender at least for a few years. Philly is in a similar position as Dallas. Huge questions throughout the entire coaching staff. Mistake-prone team. Will have to release some overpaid players who haven't quite performed as expected. Major OL issues. But still, a good amount of talent on the roster.

How realistic is it to expect us to be in position to win the division next season?

I couldn't remember all that Washington gave up to get Griffin, so I just checked. Unfortunately, while they're missing their 1st next year, they still have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, two 5ths (one from the Haynesworth trade), 6th, and 7th. So they aren't that bad off.

Good news is that the Eagles may take their place in the toilet for years with Reid out and no QB in sight.
