Wasnt wide open on the slant for the td that was over thrown #1

#2 The ball wassnt overthrown by Dak multiple times on plays he was open and had seperation matter of fact on some routes not all but some.... and that did happen btw

#3 just 1 P.I. call the whole night on those deep balls and Janoris is pushing bumping Dez 10, 15, 20 yrds down the field multiple times (based of the tape i've seen any way) i thought u cant touch a wr after 5 yds let alone push a wr after 5yds, At least thats what the rules and tv try to sale me anyway...

Theres not one wr that can do what dez can at there best on our team not 1.... what

Stop letting the fake media lead some of u zoners who want dez gone to not think logical football sense... who won the game....

annnnnnnnnnnnddddddd didnt Dak miss Dez when he shook Jenkins too.... man Jenkins is not shutting him down idk what tape yall whatchin.... If u even watch tape,

watching tape may not be ya thing...... its coo tho

Dak just need to be more accurate on some of those passes based on my eyes and dez still got work to do too... but id like to see what happens with a catchable ball

Fixable..... we get a new qb and all of a sudden you scroll down the zone looking at good convos and THEN guaranteed everytime somebody made THAT thread that make the zoners in current hybernation lurk status, They come out woods i see it all the time on here........ you have to say something

I've been saying for years i dont think we use Dez skills right myself but anyway ....except the goaline fade route thats a weapon if thrown in Dez catch radius cause if its in his catch radius its guaranteed ive seen it tooooooo many times.. boy got hops too dont forget

Can I get the English version?

:hammer::clap: Great job. I love Dez... He's a beast... Check the stats of any elite receiver. They have their down games and yes, Dez could have put up better #'s.

Irvin's TD numbers were very much affected by the fact that the 90's were very likely he best red-zone rushing team in NFL history led by the Great Wall and Emmitt Smith.

Yep. But if you watched him play you also know he wasn't a serious threat to take it to the house on any given play.

Guy just isn't a #1 WR, that's all there is to it. Nobody is afraid of Dez anymore.

Just because hes not Julio Jones doesnt mean hes not a number 1 WR. Dez is a great, hes a tier beneath Julio and OBJ ect, but hes still one of the leagues best. His numbers will reflect that by years end.

OBJ is media hype.

He's good but he's been put in a category that he doesn't deserve to be in.

Look like #1 WR numbers to me.

Mannnnn im talking about these cats on here wanting to move Dez out putting out a narrative they Heard on out there cause they not watching the game they just looking at stats.......Again past too so a CURRENT WR ON THE COWBOYS ROSTER to tae his place..... I expect First take to go there...

What wr on Dallas Better than Dez? Dez can score when he touches the ball just like a Odell can score when he touches the ball they just do it differently.....

Dez scores alot tho in real life my g like no projecting on what cld happen like u can go on youtube and see the evidence of td's by dez.. Scorers ( i think switz gonna b a scorer for us) Bease gonna always be open but he aint going 60 for the Scorer! lol

i really really believe Switz this guy his traits will translate in NFL, just the way he catches the ball seems natural to me anyway (here i am projecting but any who) Swittzcan go 60 yds for the td often vs Bease which im fine with my opinion.......

I call Zeke and Dez 6 points ..... every blue moon those stat stuffing WR's in the NFL that have like 1400,1600 yds receiving get 10 plus td's but majority of the time the ones that have dumb stuuuuupid yrds only 6 or 7 td's.. while the 1100yd 1200yd 1300 yrd guy have 12+ tds .... all in perspective...

ause if we in goaline and either Zeke or Dez successfully touches the ball 9times out of 10 its a TD!

AM i Lying???????????? somebody help me if i am cause thats what my eyes have seen

Dez consistantly get 10+ tds per yr thats a trait i love on my squad Scorers (Playmakers)

Which brings me to my next point..

Don't. Smoke. Crack.

I like Dez and think he can be a very good #1 WR but for that to happen, he needs to be used properly. He needs to be moved around to create mismatches and he needs to be running double and triple move routes. If you just line him up on the outside against even an average CB and have him run straight routs or one cut routes, he will get shut down because he doesn't run great routes and cannot separate from anyone on a regular basis. He needs his coaches to be creative with him to create that separation.
This never gets enough discussion in arguments about Dez.

They never do anything with him except say "Hey, go win in man coverage." Every other elite receiver - AB, Julio, AJ Green...they all get opportunities to have mismatches or are given easy high percentage plays. Part of that is because there aren't as many weapons around those guys as there are Dez, but let's not act like this coaching staff does anything to make it easy for him to be productive. He could be a 100 catch, 1,500 yard guy if the coaches allowed him to be.

Mike wasn't much threat to take it to the house. In fact, his TD numbers were rather pedestrian. I'd be surprised if they aren't among the lowest of the WRs in the Hall of Fame. An argument can be made that Irvin was the greatest possession receiver of all time.

Your kidding right...........

Dez is not THE #1 receiver, int he NFL, but he IS a legit #1 receiver on this team. He was open for at least one fairly easy TD (on both 2nd and 3rd down on the ill fated 1st and goal series), and Dak overthrew him both times. He also had a few other wide open runs watching the all-22, including a very easy potential TD, but Dak was looking elsewhere. We won't even mention that Jenkins was allowed to commit illegal contact on basically every play.

He literally can't execute those types of plays in practice.

They tried it one of the years I was at training camp and it was a complete fail.

Mike made a lot of great plays, and was clutch as hell.

However, a "take it to the house on any play" he really wasn't. In fact, his TD totals are not "that" great overall. Dez has more TDs than Mike in just under 2/3 the games.

As mentioned earlier, it was a running joke in the 90s that Mike padded Emmett's touchdown totals by catching so many long passes which ended inside the 5. It would be interesting to see if there is an actual count somewhere. Of course, put me on the side who would trade Dez for Mike any day, but that doesn't mean Dez isn't a legit #1 WR.

You clearly never watched Michael play if you're questioning me. Not a homerun threat.

Here are just a few of the routes ive seen Michael take to the house......
Slant
Hitch
Deep in
Deep out
Skinny Post/Post
Go
Corner
Comeback

Notice how I didn't list the "run down the sideline and outmuscle the DB for the ball" route.
He may not have been the homerun threat Rice or Moss was but he was still up there.

And stop with your grandstanding, it impresses nobody............

Dez is certainly a legit number 1 receiver.

He creates opportunities for others and he can do things that a lot of WR's only dream of.

Why can't people be comfortable with acknowledging that Dez is a great WR but also not the gold standard?

He's more than fine for this team.

He should be drawing double-coverage the way Irvin did back in the day but he was single-covered most of the game.
