There were some great moments around me today. There was an Eagles fan sitting directly behind me with his girlfriend and both were being annoying as all hell. Well, after about ten beers a piece they started getting out of control and the crowd around them started to yell at them to shut up. They took great offense to this and started throwing things and starting fights with anyone who looked at them wrong.

Security showed up and asked them to calm down, security was met with a wave of curses and at one point the Eagles fan even pushed the security person. Eventually the police showed up, by this point it had escalated to the point of being out of control and the officer asked them to leave. They continued to refuse and in a moment of genius thought it would be smart to push the officer. I'd say it took no more than 20 seconds for five more officers to show up, after about 30 seconds of fighting with the guy they finally got he and his girlfriend cuffed and they were on their way:

That's pretty sad for them. This game was good by our pathetic standards but can't even touch 15 other NFL Stadiums I've been too. We have a lot of work to do in the future as far as crowd noise is concerned. In fact, the only stadium that was more disappointing was Jacksonville, but they have an excuse, there were only about 30,000 people at that game.

I'll have to disagree about the crowd -- I thought it was very good, especially early on when the game was still close -- but we'll leave that argument for a different day.

Anyway, I must have been sitting in the section next to you, because I saw that whole thing as well and took some video of it. The guy was being extremely obnoxious and was clearly trying to start a fight with anyone around him who was willing. It was good Security got him out of there.

That was a good crowd on Sunday. Best crowd all year because they were in it all game long. And if the damn stadium would stop playing "Let's Go Cowboys" right before we break huddle for a 3rd down on offense, it would've been an even better crowd.

Kansas City was pretty loud. Giants/Eagles are always loud.

The loudest game (as a television watcher) I've seen for the 'Boys this year was the opening game. Every other game has seemed extremely quiet to me...

That's partially the problem with our fan base. They CAN be loud, they ARE loud at times, but it's the consistency that we struggle with and it's consistency that sets other stadiums apart from ours.

This guy's clueless. I said the exact same thing after the game. It was crazy loud in there -- throughout the game. Pretty much everyone agrees; the local radio stations after the game kept going on about how loud it was.

And people, PLEASE STOP judging how loud a stadium is by listening to your TV set. The television broadcast can simply turn down the volume to make the crowd completely silent.
