So the crowd still sucked on Sunday, but...

:welcome: to finally posting.

Thank you, kind sir.

It only took about 5yrs, but what the hell? What better week to start!

Phillycowboys...

Yeah, there were a lot of Eagle fans there. A lot of us live in Texas for some reason. There has always been a strong showing at the games. I've been to most in Dallas since 1996 (minus 2003-2007 while I was back in PHL for college).

Preciate the input about the experience, classy move.

Thanks. See, we're all not raw meat eating, hairy neanderthals. Some, yes. But all of that jive at the games is stupid.

All fan bases have the dumb ones. The beer muscles and tough guy syndromes. Hell, I was getting bombarded with stuff and two guys wanted to jump me while waiting for a taxi outside the stadium on Sunday night. My truck was at the hotel in Grapevine so I had to catch a cab.

I wish people could just chill and enjoy the games..even in visiting stadiums.

In all seriousness, I think they are some pretty good seats up there.

Right above where I sit is the box where a lot of the scouts sit.

You really can't beat it when it comes to having a good view of the whole field.

I don't know if there are any bad seats in the house, I was just making fun of the tool who implied that he had really expensive seats but uses these ones.

I know that you fly to Dallas for every game and wasn't trying to put your seats down. I wish I had weekends free during the school year to fly to more games rather than just hitting a few of the more local ones each year.

I found a virtual view of the field from those upper level sections, and the view looks awesome.

My first post in however many years I've been lurking here;

1. I'll get this out right away - I am an Eagles fan.

2. I'm not here to start trouble, as evidenced by my long time lurking, no time posting.

3. This poster is totally wrong. That stadium, as much as I hate to admit it, was LOUD. I was lucky enough to be on the sidelines for the game (friend of the family) and it was so loud that my ears were ringing and I could not talk to the person next to me without shouting.

4. That stadium is amazing.

5. The Eagles fan who got arrested is a ******bag. I don't know him but if I did I would kick his ***.

Nice post. One of my best friends is a life-long Eagles fan, and he's one of the nicest guys you could ever meet... so I know you're not ALL jerks. :p:

Plus, I went to school near Philly, and I know that there are many Eagles fans who are just good people who root for their team just like most people here do.

But for some reason, Philly has that element that just loves to take pride in "going over the top" when it comes to rooting for their team. It manifests itself in guys like that (in the video) and it sure manifests itself when the team doesn't do well and those same "fans" turn on the team so hard that it's a little scary.

As you can see in my video, there were about 10 or so Eagles fans sitting around me, and they all were perfectly fine. The two guys juts to the left of me were so quiet the whole time I almost forgot they were there. The large woman behind me that you see in some of my other videos was loud and getting into it with the Cowboys fans around her, but it was in a very good-natured and fun way. But there's always those guys who don't think they're being a "real fan" unless they can get into a fight with some fan from the other team.

I just realized something. In the original post it was reported that this guy already had about 10 beers in him. In the video you see Witten score. That was at 4:25 in the first quarter. 4 minutes into the game and Eagles fan already had 10 beers? I don't drink, but is that even possible? At first I was thinking this was late in the game and he was a pissed off drunk. Now I think he was just a plain drunk.

Some people start before the game begins!

I will be there saturday. I have an extra ticket cause someone backed out on me at the last minute. I guess I will be trying to sell it at the stadium saturday evening.

Here are a few pictures from where I sat at the falcons game, these tickets I have are in the same area.

(I was in an Aisle seat right where the cheer leaders came down.)

Seems like a total waste of cash to me. You pay for your tickets (I assume), possibly for travel to the game and parking, you pay for 10 beers for 2 people. You see approximately 4 minutes of the action before you leave in silver bracelets.

Makes him an even bigger idiot.

It was actually third quarter.

The Witten catch was a first down, not a score.

That was a good crowd on Sunday. Best crowd all year because they were in it all game long. And if the damn stadium would stop playing "Let's Go Cowboys" right before we break huddle for a 3rd down on offense, it would've been an even better crowd.

It was a great crowd imho.

It wasn't as good as Texas Tech fans actually taking the goal posts into the stands or tossing TAMU fans onto the field but it was great all the same.

Eagle fans leaving early were forced to the do the walk of shame being serenaded with chants of Eagles Suck!

I will admit the fans aren't the brightest as they cheer as loud on offense as they do defense but hey its a work in progress:)

Okay. I just watched the video again because I was sure you were wrong. In the upper right is the videoboard. I saw Witten on the ground with a defender on his legs and just assumed that with the cheering that it was the TD.

My bad. I wasn't watching close enough.

Still love that Staubach Navy jersey.

I had a decent amount to drink... but not THAT much. :p:

Like I said, I heard the cheers, saw Witten on the ground over a line and the defender on his legs and I automatically assumed it was his TD.

And I hadn't even taken my Nyquil.
