1. Pressure from both outside 'Backers
2. Sure tackling from the group, both inside and out
3. Special team cover guys w/a punt block
I see the difference betweeen our 'Backers and the Steelers. The way Anthony Spencer played last week and against the Cards before being injured, no doubt he should be starting opposite Demarcus Ware.

These LBs are way better than people give them credit for.

James Harrison and James Farrior are absolute studs. Woodley has come on like crazy.

Even Larry Foote is good.

Those Steeler inside backers make Bradie look 100 years old.

which is funny because Farrior is like 35 years old, and he looks like he could catch a gazelle

Bradie would have trouble catchign a slug

Mike Tomlin, that 3-4 guru.

Not gonna lie, I questioned the hire when it was made.

I was like how is a Cover 2 defensive coach going to coach a 3-4 team.

Well, its working.

Before this game, Bradie James had as many sacks and tackles as both of Pittsburgh's ILBs combined.

and still sucks, can't close in on the ballcarrier, and has to hold nearly everytime he goes into coverage

It's working because it's a Dick LeBeau defense. Tomlin has nothing to do with it.

He sucks in coverage. But he's fantastic against the run and closing in on the ballcarrier.

Pittsburgh D is beautiful to watch. they are smart, play with ferocity, and work as a unit! It seriously just shows how pathetic our D is which is the complete opposite of the Steelers unit!
